“We’re all in this together, you idiots!”

Hehe, yeah that would be a couple of tacos off your shopping list.

We're not locked down totally, but there are restrictions in place for sure. Retail stores have to limit the number of customers in the store at one time, restaurants and pubs are still open, but distancing rules and mobility limits are in place, seasonal activities and holiday events are...

Pretty much the same thing going on in BC too, nobody in your house other than those who live there. Kenney just trotted out the same for Alberta too.

Yeah, it wouldn't get me one of those parking spots close to the door either.

I'm still up in the air about that. For sure I'll let a bunch of guinea pigs step up first, but I expect that choice will be be made for me as my "turn" is not going to come up for a bit. I'm in my sixties but not in any huge risk group. At least I don't think so, does a chronic bad attitude...

It makes sense that the virus is coming into those facilities either through visitors or staff. I don't know how it is where you are but visitors have been severely restricted in BC, one appointed family member once a week. There are no restrictions on staff other than daily monitoring like...

“We’re all in this together, you idiots!”

Is it clear? And what do you mean by "at risk" ? Are you talking risk of contracting the virus or risk of suffering severe symptoms ? Lot's of people catch it and suffer symptoms no worse than a bad flu, but the aged and those with pre-existing conditions are at higher risk and somebody has...

“We’re all in this together, you idiots!”

They are making themselves apparent here in BC's Okanagan Valley. A roving band of "freedom protesters" of a hundred or so has been migrating up and down the valley enticing locals to join them outside malls. Some isolated incidents of people caught on camera acting up after being refused...

You sure did. Political opportunism disguised as righteous indignation. So freakin predictable these days.

    >snip< In a perfect world B00Mer, in a perfect world. The sad part is that we are surrounded by people who flatly refuse to mask/distance, claiming their "right" not to do so. These are the idiots Pallister is trying to get through to but I doubt he'll have much luck. For whatever reason we...

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

Here's a good site for credible Covid numbers worldwide: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries They say that on October 28, the day the article above was written, the 7 day rolling average for new daily covid deaths was 9.0, at the beginning of a month long surge that topped out...

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

Where are you getting your numbers ? Sweden is currently spiking as are other European countries, and their mortality rate puts them in the top five for deaths per 100,000 among large, wealthy countries, only slightly less than the UK. As much as they are touting their response as successful...

Trudeau has eyes set on a great reset for Canada

This is what's coming out of the WEF, how much of their agenda Canada chooses to adopt will be subject to democratic approval by Canadians, not the UN or anybody else. The idea that the Reset Gestapo is going to show up at your door to pack off your flat screen is just silly.

    End the Lockdown

Well, there would certainly be a few less things to worry about. Like Americans for instance.

    COVID-19 'Pandemic'

Lockdowns are a last result, and if they do become necessary then it's because people can't get it though their thick heads that a few simple precautions will reduce the spread enough that new cases decrease instead of increasing.

Can't argue with that. And they get a vote too. I'd like to think that informed voters outnumber uninformed voters, but then again I buy lottery tickets sometimes too.

Trudeau has eyes set on a great reset for Canada

Sure, but they're not getting a comprehensive picture then, are they? Multiple sources means multiple perspectives, the trick is picking up where the facts stop and the bias and manipulation starts. People like to point at the far right when they talk about "fake news", but that's the easy way...

Trudeau has eyes set on a great reset for Canada

Such is the challenge of finding dependable, accurate information in these times. It would be pretty naive to think that a tool as powerful as the internet, and social media in particular, would be ignored by anyone with an agenda to promote. Personally I go for the "multiple sources" route...
