Big Ass Concrete Plant sitting on the ground near Tisdale

RB from time to time. I get alerts from a company in Montreal about used equipment. Seldom is it what I am looking for. I love cement silos and concrete plants.

Keeyask dam cost could reach $10.5 billion

Pensions rule the day at institutions like Manitoba Hydro. Nothing else matters unless it is a buyout. It's like they think they will all live forever and be healthy enough to spend their money. A fine example of corporate narcissism. Hire your brother goes a long way as well.

Good to hear. The delay will favour the home team imo. Also poor scheduling by the CFL to go head to head with Craven when they could have just as easily played a road game. Crazy smoke in NW Ontario this morning after probably out best rain of the year yesterday.

Regina's Evraz steel mill conditionally sold to U.S. company Atlas Holdings

Interesting that Abramovich was involved and no doubt sold for pennies on the dollar. Not good that it is not Canadian owned but what else is new.

Noticed Jason Aldean played last night which I'm sure would have drawn a big crowd. I guess the smoke made no difference to them.

Keeyask dam cost could reach $10.5 billion

Premier Wab Kinew recently mentioned Manitoba Hydro owed $25 billion which is ridiculous for a utility company with no competition. Keeyask was easily twice the $10.5 billion they claim.

Big Ass Concrete Plant sitting on the ground near Tisdale

Another new concrete plant yet to be set up located in Bonnyville, Alberta. Very nice complete setup asking $1 mil. No doubt someone had plans for it up there but maybe a cancelled project. It could pay for itself fast with the right job and kind of surprised to see it available.

Can't remember a CFL game being postponed to the next day and wondering if the air quality is going to meet the test today. No doubt there will be added expenses for all involved and not sure if Craven going on empties out Regina or fills it up. My guess is it might be on the quiet side although...

So many story lines to a Riders / Stamps matchup and not a game to be taken lightly by either side. Sask was a -5 favorite earlier today with Calgary paying 2.75 to win the game. I went with Calgary and like my chances. Hamilton won't want to lose at home to Ottawa and probably won't. -5 is not...

    2024 Stock Market

Holcim just completed the spin off of North American operations which immediately places the new company Amrize as the continents largest cement producer among other things and really plays well into Trumps idea of America first imo. Previously most visible in Canada as Lafarge who merged their...

Appears Luke Wilson is the new CFL Anti Christ for comments made regarding the game which I think had some merit to it although that part is largely being ignored. One of his points was there is no urgency to the 2 minute drill because you never have to kill the clock and always get a reset...

Nothing to do with him being a QB but just a guy chasing the ball is the play they called in the GC. Water under the bridge already. Did you buy that early Ford camper?

Probably confusing myself with NFL games where the re-entering of the field might comes\ up more due to the width of their field but I can't remember a CFL player getting bumped out of bounds and returning to make a legal catch. You would think it would be the same for the D. Also makes sense...

Here's the play from GC 2024. Last play of the 3rd Quarter. Almost hard to believe Winnipeg did not get that call and it's come up a couple of times with players chasing loose balls. The Argo player definitely gives MBT a shoulder that changes his line to the ball which appeared to be the...

The other play that raised my eyebrows from the same Argos / Als game was when the snap was fumbled into the endzone the Toronto player shoulder bumped MBT away from the ball which was similar to the play called against Winnipeg in last years Grey Cup but not called in this game. Not saying it...

Major gaff for the league again with an Argo player re-entering the playing field to cause the fumble that was returned 100 yds for a td. How the Redblacks did not see it and challenge the call is beyond me. The level of officiating has been less than desired for a number of years and is...

    CFL

When the game is close it's always good for the home team to get a few calls. BC gave the game away as much as the Riders earned it. The real problem with the Lions may be the people that signed Masoli in the first place. Obviously the hope was that he would not have to play with many other...
