Fire up the BBQ & bring the temperature up (mine doesn't have a thermostat). Then turn off one set (side) of burners, while leaving the other side going. Put your chicken on the grill on the side where the burners are off, & close the lid. You still get those cool grill marks and lots of heat...

AnnaG, I think the two of you are decsribing two different things. Significant enough & can only be "natural" being two different things...it doesn't look like Slim Chance is saying, "can only be "natural". Petros, I too, didn't see a name for the Natural cycle Slim Chance is describing...

Sorry. Birdshot. We use the 22's for Gophers out here. Porcupines are off the menu as they are protected (& a good survival food as a 90yr old with a cane can chase them down and club them for a meal if need be).

Mmmmm....my favorite is stuffed and roasted (like chickens...same spices). The stuffing out of a rabbit is amazingly moist (so much dark meat). Watch out for buckshot, 'cuz that does nothing good for your teeth.
