We haven't done a fondue since my son was born a decade ago. We took him to a fondue restaurant a few months ago and he loved it, so we're going to start doing it again at home.
Hugo Chavez ain't got nothin' on Newfoundland and Labrador premier, Danny Williams. Ol' Hugh at least pays compensation for expropriating private assets owned by corporations, unlike Williams, who is just taking the assets of forestry company AbitibiBowater...
Since its been, well, never, since anyone had anything good to say about President Bush on CanCon, I thought it high time he got props for something.

I'm sure the parade revelers will think "Hmm, yes, this is an appropriate venue for strident, in-your-face political cacophony. I'm so glad I brought the children."
The ability of liberals to continuously shoot themselves in the head...
BTW, anyone know of a good place to buy wines in the Comox Valley and Saskatoon? I've generally found the selection in those places lacking. Perhaps that's what colours my opinions of Canadian vintners.
I used to work for a beer and wine distributor. I know the guy that popularized Baby Duck, or at least was part of the marketing effort. They used to go and hand it out to the homeless winos.

Subsidies are ridiculous, but I can't think of another country that was once a net exporter of agriculture that is now an importer and experiencing 6000% inflation at the same time.
It should be noted that at one time, Zimbabwe was once - i.e. ten years ago - one of Africa's largest exporters of agriculture. Today, people are starving while a global boom in agricultural prices is on.
That's the legacy of Robert Mugabe.
How can we Americanadians allow this injustice of brown illegal immigrants coming into our countries and stealing money from Patriot Free American foods like hot dogs and hamburgers!
Don't believe me?
See for yourself.
