Depends on the the winds aloft, humidity, and a few other things. The other day at the airshow the jet trails of the performers were gone in just a few seconds. On other days the trails were still there twenty minutes later. Nothing to do with mysterious chemicals being added to the air.

I've had Vidalias and several others, but none are as sweet as Walla Wallas. The time element is that they don't have a long shelf life. Don't buy a couple dozen large Walla Wallas. They won't keep long. We buy them maybe twice in the Summer....great on hamburgers.

That is one way to look at it. That roast had been in the freezer for three months at least. It was time for it to have it's day. While I enjoy a nice, beef dinner, I can't wait for the great beef sandwiches using fresh homemade crusty French bread rolls.
