    Simple never-fail recipes

You were doing great until the kippers in Louisiana hot sauce. Now, I love real smoked kippered herring. I even like Brunswick sardines right out of the can. Loisiana hot sauce belongs in Louisiana. I hate the stuff.

Our kids used to pick out bits of green pepper and mushrooms the size a microdot. I finally got around this by grinding the mushrooms up and mixing them right into the meat balls

Here is a short video of a lap on the short track by a race prepared BMW 330i (Actually, there are a few different cars doing laps.) The bimmer is the second one down from the top on the left hand side. The track is a lot wider than I remember it but then, my experience is a few years old...

I once took a race driving course that convinced me that I was not a race driver. When I was in Germany with the RCAF a few years back I took a one week high performance driving course. The course was given by Bob Bondurant. The driving was on the short track at Nurbergring. We were driving...

It looked like the guy kept his foot down through a couple puddles or wet spots and that is what got him sideways. I don't know why anyone would want that kind of power in a bloody pickup truck in the first place.

If I were to own one more sports car it would likely be the Elise. It would have to be a coupe. I had enough water down my neck with the Healeys and the MG.s. The Miata can be beaten by horsepower but not much else. The good thing about the GT6 was that it was a very well thought out car...

I couldn't remember what year they ditched the pop-up headlights....A feature I really liked on the Miata. The Alpine wasn't a bad sports car but like all the Roots Group offerings, the parts could have come from anywhere. Adding that Ford engine gave it more acceleration but the weight of...

I wouldn't compare Mowat with Michael Moore. He did pad the stories abit but I've enjoyed everything of his I've read. He usually ended up with a very entertaining story. If you hear Mowat interviewed, you come away feeling that he loves the country, and for that I can forgive most things.
