Trump tells Republic of Ireland Taoiseach Micheál Martin that Martin's country is taking advantage of the US during a press conference in the Oval Office.

The US President also goes on to attack the EU. The Republic of Ireland, of course, is the EU's little bitch, unlike her neighbour Britain which left the EU in 2020...

…& what is Britain doing in response to Trumps tariffs upon it? Turning the other bum cheek? Grabbing the other ankle too?
Yet the UK is taking the second path: keeping its head down, and hoping it can persuade the mercurial and deal-driven Trump to change his mind.🤞How’s that working out for…let’s say…Australia? 🙄

25% tariff on 250,000,000 Tonnes of British aluminum & steel…meh…you could still remain competitive by shipping it across the entire Atlantic before it sees the coastline of America with that in place, right?

Trump is prag’n Britain right in the -matic while it keeps a disappointed but stiff upper lip….hoping that Trump will get distracted by Canada?…& that a 25% tariff on £400M will still leave it competitive after shipping it across the entire Atlantic ocean, etc…??…& that makes Ireland someone’s bitch?

Yes, the EU is attempting to defend itself. What bastards!! Brittish interests have only been hit with the 25% tariff on steel and aluminum…so far. Blackleaf, to Trump that’s called foreplay. Do you think things end with foreplay? Trumps hand up your mums skirt & nobody says anything so he’ll be content? Does that sound plausible?

Canada may very well lose (it’s 1/10th the population of America) this Trump trade war, but at least it’s trying to keep its butt cheeks clenched together. What’s Britain doing again? Lubing up?

A better Lincoln quote woulda been "With malice toward none, with charity toward all."

But look on the bright side. Folks hereabouts hated Biden and hated Harris. Y'all got what y'all wanted.

Enjoy.

Nevermind there is "Brexit regret" going on right now, right Blackie?
