Canada Post stopped delivering to our apartment building for a week because there was a puddle of water in the mail room. The mail carriers are lazy ass pussies and it doesn't take much for them to stop service. I am surprised they deliver at all to some 'downtown' neighbourhoods in any major city.

Personally, I have never understood the effectiveness of hunger strikes. If you wait long enough the protester either abandons it or dies. Either way your problem is solved.
