    Hardy Cup

Hamilton is closer to Toronto than Saskatoon is to Regina. This breeds rivalry. The issue would be the drain from the Roughriders on the other 9 home games without fans from Saskatoon to draw on. Also a new CFL franchise needs to be in the east to balance out the teams and avoid this crossover...

They are getting the trailing edge now. I think I heard somewhere that that is worse than the leading edge.

There is nothing about that monstrosity that looks right regardless what it is doing.

    CFL

I would hope they learned from the Argos mistake of 2023 when they clinched early and rested everybody and with last week bye and bye into final made them very very very rusty and they lost.

If Winnipeg loses, they are the crossover. They have 1 less win than Calgary or BC. The only way Calgary would crossover is if Calgary winds up third team in a 3 way tie (BC loss + Calgary loss + Winnipeg win). Hamilton has tiebreaker over Montreal. They beat them twice. If Hamilton wins...

    CFL

Winnipeg is not guaranteed crossover. They own tiebeaker over BC. If BC loses and Winnipeg and Calgary wins, BC is crossover. If Calgary and BC lose and Winnipeg wins, not sure how 3 way tie scenario works in CFL. If BC wins, BC hosts Calgary in final regardless what Calgary or Winnipeg do. If...

Looks like Winnipeg will be the crossover. No crossover has ever won the east. Saskatchewan came close in 2017.

    CFL

On paper they are the only really winning team among a see of near .500 teams and then the Argos and RedBlacks. If that translates in the playoff it could be a cup year. Unfortunately, it doesn't always translate.

Which is why only 1 team will miss and not 2.

    CFL

Only one team in the west will miss the playoffs. With Edmonton playing all the teams above them, that could be anybody (except the Riders).

Trudeau announces Amira Elghawaby as Canada's first representative to combat Islamophobia

I am not saying Israel by any means has clean hands but Hammas' are just as dirty over the years. Maybe less opportunities but they haven't really missed any they had.
