Ummm...What if the God that this King "fears/believes in" isn't the God that you fear or
believe in? What if...what if this King is a Moslem? Would that be an issue?

yes, cuz muslims are wrong, they read the wrong book
The king of Cascadia wouldn't be muslim. That would be silly...
Our whole law system is based on the right faith:roll:

Oh my...is Cascadia somewhere to the right of Oz? What if your King had a different outlook and
religious beliefs then yourself? Your King's word would be LAW!!! What if he say's, "As of this day
forward, all the subjects in MY land shall be Moslems!"? What would you do? The Roman Empire
converted to Christianity. Your king could convert to darn near anything and his subjects would be
commanded to follow suit...and his word would be the LAW!!! Hmmm....

It's been bugging me all day at work about my last post. Let me clarify.
Every human has the right to believe whatever he wants. And no human should be discriminated against in the slightest for any of their beliefs. Having said that, if a by a one in a billion shot that Cascadia separated, I don't think that the king would be muslim. I mean, if a part of Maylasia or Syria separated, the ruler wouldn't be a christian. It just wouldn't happen that way. You could say hypothetically, but on this one I gotta be more realistic... even Cascadia coming into existance--- forget about it. Not only that, maybe a Muslim king would not be oppressive, such as you suggested. Maybe we could live prosperously.

you are making assumptions about other people's beliefs, which can often be construed as rude

You guys had it, you really had it. you had a monarch state, and you gave it up. No power from the throne...

as for your statement, I never assume anything about what's his face, maybe he already knows that logic and reason and conscience are god given traits, maybe he needed to be reminded of it.
I dunno if he believes in God. Even if I wanted to make assumptions about somebody, what's it to ya? We may be the same age kiddo, but one thing ya gotta learn is that political correctness is for wussies.

Please reply.

You talk to God too? That's great. I wonder what heaven will be like? I hope I have long flowing viking hair, and a pet tiger that is made of colours humans have never seen.

Are you questioning my relationship with God? She doesn't like that. You might be headed for the whole hell experience unless you donate to our church.

Alaska, Yukon, and BC should be it's own nation. Alaska is unattainable, so that leaves the Yukon and BC. I know all you guys think that if Quebec separates that Canada would slip into the dark ages. But I think Canada would be stronger. And if the mighty, glorious nation of Cascadia were to go alone, I'm sure it would survive. Why not beat Quebec to the punch? Why remain loyal to Canada? We can start over. Fresh, anew, a clean slate. Think of the kick ass hockey rivalries we could have between Cascadia, Alberta, Onterrible etc....

There has to be another separtist/sovereign citizen on this forum. Anybody?

Over the years, I've often thought of B.C. being an independent country. Ottawa only wants us for our money, then they drop us like a hot potatoe. The federal election is
decided in Ontario, so no need for us to be part of it, it's always decided before our polls
close anyway. Yeah, and if Alaska was independent too, that would be cool, we could
hang out together from time to time.
I'm in.

Glad to hear from you! Yeah, an independent Alaska would be awesome, but America would never allow it. They would rather bomb it till it glows for ten thousand years than to have it separate. The only possible way is if America completely collapsed altogether, but I'm not sure that would be a good thing for entire continent, whether we are Canada or not. I don't know if it will ever happen, but I hope one day Cascadia will be strong and free!:smile:
