I already know the answer to this question. And yes it has a right and wrong answer. Black and white. No grey. How many of you know the right answer?

ie: Is what Hitler did to all those people truly wrong and evil? OR ; Is it a matter of opinion whether or not it was evil?

What the hell does this mean?

I think it's obvious? I'm laughing at your post.

Don't you think it's a wee bit pretentious to announce you know the answer to a question you then ask? Especially on a question of all morality. Then to say there is a right or wrong answer! It's hysterical!

What are you; the return of Jesus or something? :clown:

I actually just wanted to see if anyone would come up with the right answer ...perfectly. Because, that's what it's all about Scott Free, making others think, maybe outside the box or their comfort zone. And yes I do think maybe I'm being pretentious, so what, what's to ya?

Do you think: You claiming I'm all righteous makes you look like the guy that has all the answers? Cuz if your right on something Scott Free, and I see it, I am more than willing to be humble, admit wrong/ignorance, and learn something from you or others.

But the way, I do consider myself righteous. Meaning, better than some people. Not everyone, just some. Is that so bad?

But we're off topic, original question: truth: absolute or relative?

Funny, that's what it was to me.

Huh? where'd that come from? :-?

I don't suppose so long as it's a limitation your comfortable with.

Define absolute in the context of your question.

. How many of you know the right answer?
I have no idea how many of us here know the right answer, but I know I do, and it's not just one word long. I don't understand what your purpose is in asking such a sweeping question, claiming to know the answer, and refusing to give it. You're a relative newcomer here so I don't have a clear read on your style, but a post like that suggests you expect people to give the wrong answer so you can show your intellectual and moral superiority in correcting them. Your tone's a little condescending, which doesn't encourage discussion.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeez Dex, talk about putting a guy in his place.8O8O8O8O8O8O8OI feel about three inches tall right about now.:-( A million apologies to you all. The correct answer is: truth is absolute. it is objective, not subjective. You guys all know that. I just kinda, maybe, sort of, wanted some person that I have encountered in other social situations, who thinks differently to challenge me. Some people nowadays, people I personally know, would actually argue the opposite of truth. This is a dangerous mindset, and it is due to sheer love of my fellow man I believe that this principle be defeated. For the times we live in are very, very interesting indeed. Doesn't it feel like something is brewing? Something really, really bad? Is our society's attitude/thinking patterns/stubborness leading us towards something dangerous? It feels like it.

I'm sorry if I sound condescending, I don't mean to be at all. I am genuinely interested in all your guy's opinions. I love them. And I love you all, as if brothers. Seriously.
Dex, props, love.

I never said I was perfect:-(
My mother never hugged me.:-:)-:)-:)-:)-(

By truth do you mean morality or fact?

Both. Fact is easy. 2 plus 2 equals 4 for all people, in all cultures, all languages, throughout all time. But morality is one people wanna argue. Here's my point: When injustice happens to any human being on the entire planet, every person feels outrage, sadness, whatever. So, in my opinion this proves the following: There is an outside moral law/compass that is outside of you, and me. It is objective. If you've been victimized, deep down inside, you know you've been ripped off. Doesn't this mean something? Where does this objective law come from? Help me out here, Scott Free

Me sleepy now, check threads tommorow after work.
Dex, where you at? I poured my heart for you, and am eagerly awaiting your response.:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile:

Hello alleywayz, I think if you consider the human species as one organism and us individual bits as atoms in a giant tide of sentience, there may be no need for external guidance or navigation, in other words the giant tide is equiped with group determination and the illusion of independence simultaneously and in perpetuity. I am a believer in the one or the way or the universe is a rich soup school. So I don't really believe we're disconnected from anything, injustice is of course one of the strongest spices added to the universe soup. I think you are right about the injustice, it reverberates through the soup like onions even beyond the fuzzy line that separates human beings from dog turds on the lawn themselves important constituant parts of the whole.. How can one be truly objective when you're in the soup up to your neck all day everyday?

You're are wrong. I know it's shocking, you'll recover. And that fact can easily be seen in this forum and in this latest post of yours, his percieved condescention encouraged your discussion. We await your self defence by way of convoluted logic. If only you had used friendly before discussion in your sentence I would not have had to perform this public service in defence of the innocent. We do have young people here and I think they shouldn't be constantly subjected to your sloppy writing. I regret to inform you that I have reported you to the forum inquisitors, maybe they can wring some humility and shame from you.. May dog have mercy on your soul.
