Yeah, EA has been doing that for years. It would require too much of the systems resources to have 20k different fan models, each with unique animations.

I like how they have a token black dude in the crowd though, lol

is he still a token black dude if he's one of two?

I'll have to contact EA about that. ;)

I don't know if that image was photoshopped or not but that's the only character model that appears only once in that pic..... OMG Racism!

Racism?... at least the blacks got two guys in there. Where are the women? Hmmm? Apparently the NHL was down-lo date night when EA games went to collect their crowd snapshot.

Good catch, Karrie. EA doesn't show a lot of love for the ladies do they?

I read it last night where I got the picture, now I forget, and I also can't find
where I got the picture, somewhere on the NHL site, but I'm thinking maybe they
have changed their site to new stuff, as it is Monday.
I looked up the Indianapolis racers, but there not mentioning his name on any
of them.

Congrats to the Habs.

There is another team in the 100 year group that might be the oldest of them all. Any guess who that is?

Yes. There are actually two teams but one is truly unchanged in name.

The Toronto Argonauts were formed in 1873. Members of the Toronto Argonauts Rowing Club put a team in the Canadian Rugby Union. The Canadian Rugby Union eventually was given some hardware in the early 1900's called the Grey Cup. The Rugby Union eventually became in the CFL in post WWII. The team has had the same name and has operated consecutively since 1873.

In 1869 a team called the Hamilton Tigers created a rugby team. They eventually merged with another team then became the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 1950's.

That is really interesting Kreskin, yeah, team 1040 was chatting a while back on the
age of the CFL, lots of history there.

There is lots of haggling going on concerning the decision to retire canuck sweaters.

Do you think Trevor Linden's sweater should be retired?

Do you think Markus Naslund's sweater should be retired?

Trevor Linden, yes. Whenever I think of him, I picture him as a Canuck.

Naslund, probably should have his sweater retired at some point but I think he needs to finish his career first.
