German police get sports bras... how is that even 'odd' news, let alone news at all? Seriously... that's just common sense, and new safety gear. Is it the mere fact that breasts are involved that makes it noteworthy?

Could be, there is testing going on in Montreal regarding all kinds of changes to police protective wear, but before it can be put in the field it has to pass CSA standards (I don't know what the standards for this would be based upon). Yet it is happening.
