Did the Christian God Break his own Commandment?

the Christian god cannot follow is own commandments and is constant use of threats to keep his people in line shows that he is not all powerfull

The Commandments are commanded for man to obey, not for God that He should obey; God is God, man is not God; man is the servant to do the will of his Master.

So this is it: man may respect his father, mother, teacher, friends and other people; but concerning God this has to be more than the respect: it is the worshipping and servitude to God;

because God is not equal to man; people will be responsible about their acts; while God: no one may judge Him and ask Him: why did You do so and so.

This is in the Quran 21: 23

The explanation: (He shall not be questioned as to what He does, but they shall be questioned.)

Man should not kill another person (this is one of the Commandments), unless this person has committed a murder, then he should be killed according to the Law of God.

This is in the Quran 17: 33

The explanation:
(And kill not the soul which God has forbidden save by a right [cause].

Whoso is slain wrongfully [: he was himself killed without committing any crime], We have given power to his heir [:his relative who is most worthy of taking his revenge: like his son or brother …],

but let him not commit excess in slaying;

surely, he will be helped to overcome [God will enable him to have his revenge.])
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And this is a well-known observation among people: "the murderer will sooner or later be killed; and the adulterer will be impoverished."

God is the exclusive creater of all evil: Isaiah 45:7.

God tries them with good once and with evil another time.
This is in the Quran 21: 35
The explanation: (Every soul shall taste [the pain] of death;

and We try you [in the World] with evil [one time] and good [another time] for a testing,

then unto Us you shall be returned [and We shall reward you accordingly: the good-doer according to his good work, and the evil-doer according to his evil work.] )

God rewards people in this World with prosperity, in case they serve Him alone and do not associate others with Him;

and He punishes them with: hurricanes, wars, floods, wild fires, untreatable diseases and other ways of punishment in case they associate others [like Jesus and their patron saints] with Him, or they deny Him like the atheists, and they disobey His commandments like: committing and justifying the homosexual act, committing the adultery, transgressing on people, working with the usury, gambling and other disobediences.

This is in the Quran 7: 96
The explanation:
(Had the people of the [ancient] cities [that We destroyed: the ancients who were associaters and idolaters and they denied the apostles] believed and warded off [the association with God and the disobedience], surely We should have opened for them blessings from the sky and from the earth.

But they gave the lie [to the messengers], and so We seized them [with punishment] on account of what [disobedience and denial of the apostles] they used to earn.)

Therefore, it is they who brought the evil on themselves, while God wanted to show mercy and bestow much grace on them. As He said in the Quran 16: 33
The explanation:
(it was not God Who wronged them, but it was they who did wrong their own souls.)

Hmmm.... I don't recall a Commandment about homosexuality. What is it that frightens Muslims so much about gays? Are you so insecure in your manhood/femininity that you're closet queer? What is the sin in being the person God created?

"Like Jesus and their patron saints...."

So, your book considers Christians to be sinners? What makes Muslims better? Is it right and proper to slaughter all who do not think only the thoughts in your book? We are told Islam teaches the ways of peace. You have just told me it is a lie. Explain that in your own words because your book speaks little to me.

Marry, since she was pregnanted by God without her consent or knowlege....

Why Mary, mother of Jesus, was an example for believers:

She belonged to the most honest and noble family of the Children of Israel; her father was the custodian of the House of God at Jerusalem. Then her guardian was Prophet Zacharia: the husband of her aunt Elizabeth.

She is the example for the believers who do not associate with God; because of her honesty and chastity, and for this reason she was chosen to bear the Christ.

The believer: the monotheist, is loyal to his Lord; he does not associate with Him anyone else.

The chaste woman is loyal to her husband, does not betray him, neither does she associate with him other men.

The loyalty and chastity against the betrayal and adultery.

The associater and the idolater is like the adulteress who associates other men with her husband: i.e. she betrays her husband and associate others with him.

This meaning is so evident in the Torah and the Quran.

God – be glorified – said in the Quran 66: 10-12 about Mary the mother of Jesus:

The explanation:
(God mentions an example of unbelievers: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot; they were under [the marriage bond of] two of Our righteous servants, and they betrayed them, but they [: Noah and Lot] availed them [: their wives] nothing against [the punishment of] God, and it was said [to the two betraying women, after their death]: "Enter Hell – both of you – together with those who enter."

God mentions [as] an example for believers –– the wife of Pharaoh [;she converted and surrendered to God, so Pharaoh tormented her till death,] when she said: "My Lord, build for me a house in Paradise, in your neighborhood, and save me from Pharaoh and his works and save me from the people of the wrong-doers [Pharaoh's people.]"

And Mary: Imran's daughter, who guarded her virginity, so We breathed into her [womb] by Our spirit [: Gabriel], and she believed in the [Ten] Words of her Lord [: the Ten Commandments] and His scriptures [: the scripture of Abraham, the Law of Moses, the Psalms of David and the Gospel of Jesus], and was one of the devout [servants.] )

This meaning of the adultery and adulterer in relation to the association with God, and the chastity in relation to the monotheism and loyalty to God alone, is demonstrated in many other ayat of the Quran, and in the Torah (Most of it is included in the Old Testament).

See why was Israel divorced: God divorced her and gave her the bill of divorce, and she was no longer the Chosen People of God:
Israel Is Divorced
According To The Words Of The Hebrew Bible Itself

It is mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah, chapter 3, the following:
“6-And the Lord said to me in the days of king Josiah: Have you seen what rebellious Israel has done? She has gone of herself upon every high mountain and under every green tree and has played the harlot there (*).
7-And when she had done all these things, I said: Return to me. And she did not return. And her treacherous sister Juda saw.
8-That because the rebellious Israel had played the harlot, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce: yet her treacherous sister Juda was not afraid, but went and played the harlot also herself.
9-And by the facility of her fornication she defiled the land and played the harlot with stone and with stocks.”
*i.e. she served stones and idols instead of God, and by doing so, she betrayed her Lord.

[In this respect, Jesus Christ said, as in the Gospel according to Matthews 21: 43
Therefore I say to you that the kingdom of God shall be taken from you** and shall be given to a nation*** yielding the fruits thereof.”

**Jews.
***It shall be given to a nation that shall work according to God’s commandments, i.e. the Islamic nation.]

I don't recall a Commandment about homosexuality.
What makes Muslims better?

The homosexuality is part of the adultery, to which there is a Commandment forbidding it.

And are you the third party specialized in stirring the enmity between Christians and Muslims?

No discrimination between Jews, Christians and Muslims in this respect: anyone that works contrary to the First Commandment: that God is One and commits the disobediences will sooner or later be punished by God Almighty.

This is in the Quran 4: 123
The explanation:
(It is not according to your vain desires [Muslims], nor the vain desires of the people of the Bible [Jews and Christians];
but anyone who does evil shall be punished accordingly, and shall not find for him beside God any patron or helper.)

If both partners in the act are committed to each other, how it is adultery?

And are you the third party specialized in stirring the enmity between Christians and Muslims?

If asking you your own views on what seems to be a rather unique slant on Islam I may be party in your own evaluation of your faith. Since this discourse is directly between you and I, it hardly can be "stirring the enmity between Christians and Muslims". Neither of us are big enough in the grand scheme of things.

No discrimination between Jews, Christians and Muslims in this respect: anyone that works contrary to the First Commandment: that God is One and commits the disobediences will sooner or later be punished by God Almighty.

If you see discrimination, then you may have a problem.

Are these your own words? Do you have a life outside your book? Don't get me wrong here. There is no discrimination to interpret. Faith is a personal thing. I have my belief and you have yours. Do you really consider yourself better than me in that I do not pray to Mohammed?

The adultery is there whether the act has been committed willingly or not.

Do you really consider yourself better than me in that I do not pray to Mohammed?

I do not pray to Mohammed; I pray to the God of Mohammed.

Do you have a life outside your book?

The First Commandment is all the life; I tell you how:
When man gets up from sleep, he praises God Most Gracious that he raised him up from sleep healthy and safe and provided him with every provision.
Then when he starts to eat his breakfast: he says Bismillahi Arrahman Arrahiem
which means: In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Then when he finishes his meal, he says Praise be to God, and thank You my Lord.
When he goes to relieve nature, he should not mention the name of God's majesty.
Then when he goes to work, he says: In God we trust and on Him we rely.
If any trouble faces him, he seeks refuge in God, and if any favor and grace he sees, he says thanks to God and Praise be to God.
If he sees any marvelous thing in the nature, he says: Glory be to God.
When he gives some alms to the poor; he says: I give this poor for the sake of my Lord alone, not for the sake of Mohammed or Ali or Jesus or Moses.
When he takes a car to reach to some places he thanks God alone and celebrates His praises.
And so on all his life has to be programmed according to this First Commandment and the Quran of God.
If he prays, he prays to God alone.
And seeks God's assisstance, but does not seek assisstance and help of any prophet, imam, shaikh or saint.

I believe it's called rape if the sex is non consentual. It is adultery if you are committed to somebody else. When you are married in the eyes of God, it is sanctioned - between a man and a woman. Between homosexuals is between two people and none of anyone else's business. Who is man to determine what is right in the eyes of God?

I do not pray to Mohammed; I pray to the God of Mohammed.

Then, who or what is Mohammed and why are people killed in his name?

Soo... Are you evasive about every question? I do recall you bringing up that issue in others. The question was do you have a life ... independent thoughts free from a God placing them in your head. How can one learn from someone who has nothing to say? As I have told tou. Your book does not speak to me. It your faith based on flesh ... or on paper?

The reply to this is in the Quran 6: 91
The explanation:
(And they do not esteem God as He should be esteemed; for they say: "God has never sent down anything on any human being!"

Say: "Who then sent down the scripture [: the book] which Moses brought: [when he came down from Mount Hor,as] an illumination [from which light emitted] and a guide to people,

which you put on papers that you reveal and you hide much,

and you have been taught that which you did not know: neither you nor your fathers."

Say: "[It is] God [Who revealed it]."

Then let them be to play in their prating.)

Luk 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

Fancy talking a prostitute doesn't change the fact that she's a prostitute..... not Marry, but as similar in example, fancy talking a talking her doesn't change the fact that he impregnated her without her knowlege or consent until after the fact.

"Congratulations, the King finds you hot, therefore you have the honor of sleeping with this greesy fat bastard we call our King and your marriage to that guy is irrelevent. You should feel happy, because not everybody get's to catch the clap from the leader of our country."

Or

"Congratulations, God found you hot and the best of the best, and now he impregnated you..... SUPRISE!!"

It still doesn't excuse his actions against her, nor does it say she personally wanted this to happen to her.

A vessel chosen and Mary was found to be highly favored and one blessed as Eve was to be the mother of the seed (Jesus) who was the one espoused to God to deliver all of mankind back to the Father.

What was wrong with the old way before Jesus? He created his original religion, him being all perfect, and it didn't work, so he gives us plan B. with Jesus, and that still didn't quite work out..... so Plan C is now to destroy us all and do a massive buy and sell with all the humans on the planet between him and Satan.

This procedure manifested in the flesh to bring in a spiritual kingdom that is not of this world.
Now, Praxius, I understand your very descriptive use of words concerning God, as not to favorable but yet forgivable because had you any faith in God, those choice of words would never be voiced or thought by you.

Most of the time it would just be my dad smacking me in the back of the head for saying such things..... but considdering that's been the only punishment for saying what sticks to the reality of life, then I will continue to say so. To me, it is what it is.

And you're probably right, if God showed his cowardly ass and put some effort onto this planet from time to time and actually got involved in a manner in which people could actually believe in him, then I probably would change my tone..... his hasn't, he didn't, he's not going to, nor ever will.... therefore my stance remains.

If we can come to understand how God works rather than what we think He works, we would by far in a better position.
Peace>>>AJ

And yet, that will never happen, because all we know of God is through hearsay of other flawed humans over centuries of time..... not to mention the Bible was written hundreds of years after the events actually occured, therefore their accuracy isn't all that trustworthy.

Covet means like to long for or to obsess over. God only wanted to knock her up. Maybe it was artificial insemination so it would be like visiting the gynecologist. Loophole....

Covet:

To wish for with eagerness; to desire possession of; -- used in a good sense.
To long for inordinately or unlawfully; to hanker after (something forbidden).
To have or indulge inordinate desire.

And by what Look mentioned:

"Luk 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

A vessel chosen and Mary was found to be highly favored and one blessed as Eve was to be the mother of the seed (Jesus) who was the one espoused to God to deliver all of mankind back to the Father."

^ Sounds like he has some fancy desire for Marry if you ask me..... and that's not even getting to the rape part.

Just a technical note...most scholars, by that I mean people at real universities who study this stuff for accuracy, not to back up established doctrine, say that Mary and Joseph were engaged, not married...at least according to the majority of manuscripts.

Well regardless of what scholars claim, what does it exactly say in the bible?

Married or Engaged?

I also don't think that people who believe this sort of thing think that God has a penis or that sperm was involved...I know, the whole XY thing is a problem but I'll leave that to someone else to figure out.

Of course he probably doesn't have a penis per say, but the outcome is still the same.

The Commandments are commanded for man to obey, not for God that He should obey; God is God, man is not God; man is the servant to do the will of his Master.

Well if that's the case, he can still kiss my ass. Children very seldom follow the rules their parents set, so long as they don't follow their own rules, so how the hell can one expect humans to do the same when God is permitted to contradict his own rules, thereby expressing no sense of control or order?

So this is it: man may respect his father, mother, teacher, friends and other people; but concerning God this has to be more than the respect: it is the worshipping and servitude to God;

Since he has yet to do anything for me in this life, and expects everything for nothing, he can still kiss my ass.

because God is not equal to man; people will be responsible about their acts; while God: no one may judge Him and ask Him: why did You do so and so.
This is in the Quran 21: 23

The explanation: (He shall not be questioned as to what He does, but they shall be questioned.)

That won't fly by me... go ahead, take your cat or dog and set them free out into the forest to fend for themselves, don't give them anymore help, no food, no water, no shelter, nothing..... and then expect them to follow along the same rules you had set in your house and see just how long they will survive...... they won't.... and chances are, for as long as they do live, I bet you anything they abandoned your rules in order to survive.

God's not here, God hasn't done a licking thing for as long as I can at least remember, and I'm the one who's got to survive on this planet along with everybody else..... wtf should I or anyone else be expceted to follow the rules and laws set out by something that has never communicated with us in forever?

Man should not kill another person (this is one of the Commandments), unless this person has committed a murder, then he should be killed according to the Law of God.
This is in the Quran 17: 33

The explanation:
(And kill not the soul which God has forbidden save by a right [cause].

Whoso is slain wrongfully [: he was himself killed without committing any crime], We have given power to his heir [:his relative who is most worthy of taking his revenge: like his son or brother …],

but let him not commit excess in slaying;

What? Kill the guy, but don't kill him too much?

surely, he will be helped to overcome [God will enable him to have his revenge.])

And that would explain why things are never ending in the middle east towards violence between cultures such as Israel and other Arab neighbors.

And this is a well-known observation among people: "the murderer will sooner or later be killed; and the adulterer will be impoverished."

So when does God become impoverished? Oh wait, you're addressing questions for one religion with answers from another.... that doesn't make much sense.

Mary the mother of Jesus was chaste and honest; she was not yet married; she might have been engaged; she was under the guardianship of Prophet Zachariah the husband of her aunt.

She secluded herself from the others, and set a curtain, when Gabriel the angel appeared before her in the form a man; so she was surprised and was afraid and asked God's protection from him, and told him to return back; but he said to her that he was sent by God to give her the glad tidings of bearing the Christ.

Then he blew on the ground, and some of the dust entered into her womb, and she became fertilized by this way, and the fetus was formed in her womb, without being touched sexually by any man.

So Gabriel was like the uncle of Jesus: the brother of his mother.

This is in the Quran 4: 155 -157
The explanation:
(155-Then because of their breaking of their covenant,
and their denial of the signs of God,
and their slaying the prophets wrongfully,
and their saying: “Our hearts are surrounded with covers [so that we don't understand what you, Mohammed, are saying]"
Not so, but God has sealed upon them because of their blasphemy, so that they will not believe except a few [of them.]
