I've read more then my fair share of fairie tale books on the subject. But I've had my bubble burst by people like Dex. That's not to say that they have offered up all the contradictory proof needed to dispel all unexplained. But they have sufficiently smashed the liars and sharlestons into dust.
You need to re-examine what has been put forth here, then re-evaluate what it is you wish to believe or know.

Great, now you're going to tell me what I am and what I've read.
Well let me be the first to tell you...most of the Christians around these parts hate my guts. I'm one of the most anti organised religious types you'll ever come across. On top of that, I'm a Native Canadian, as in 'Injun'. So I pretty much adhere to the cultural religions of my heritage. Now, I've also been a guest of the Crown, as in, done time behind bars. Where I was bored silly and read the Bible, both Old Testament and New and the Torah. I just recently finished reading the Quran, so as to be able to bash the multitude of Islamiphobes that haunt these forums.
So do NOT presume to tell me what I have or have not read, nor what faith I believe in. Let alone what I know or how smart I am. I actually read and give respect to people with opposing points of view and information. It is only when their agenda, hypocrisy's, extremism or stupidity (AS is your case) come out that I lose respect and take the lower road.

I suppose the problem is that bible thumpers will think this validates their evil book. It seems reasonable to me that given the wide range of human characteristics we see today in different races that in antiquity we should see at least as many if not more.

cool site. i agree with you over the bible thumpers. even though i do believe in god my self .and that Jesus did exist. but the corruption of the book from its translation. and the fact half of it if not more gospels, were written, by women no less, and never put in it by guess who the catholic church f-ing satanist IMHO ,how will we ever know the truth but the fact about giants is a good one it is said that Neanderthal man was killed off by the homosapien race so maybe that's why .????

I think your right that we probably would kill giants off as they would probably be a threat to resources and their probable need to consume greater quantities would mean they might not have been able to compete against us for resources. The better species won.

Quandary, if you're going to count moons as planets, there are moons of other planets that are bigger than this planet.
