Concerning alien abductions. I once read a book by an American psychiatrist, a Doctor Rick Strassman. I's called "DMT - the Spirit Molecule". This Doctor Strassman performed a series of experiments with DMT, a psychedelic substance, with the participation of human volunteers. One of the hypotheses he arrived at during his experiments was a link between DMT and alien abduction reports. The thing is that DMT is a very strong psychedelic substance, that happens to be produced by the human body. It is produced in very small quantities, so as not to disrupt a person's daily existence. But sometimes there occurs a spontaneous release of a very large quantity of DMT into the blood, for no apparent reasons. And it is due to DMT that, according to him, people experience alien abductions. He came to that conclusion because practically every volunteer in his project saw some alien ships, and experienced alien encounters while under the influence of DMT.
i found the pic at last this is the one that ive seen before

I know this may make me sound like a jerk, but when I zoom the web page in to about 300% to zoom into the details around the photo, I would almost say that was a photoshop effect.... (Of course anybody could say the same about my own picture) but that image appears to have what I assume is 3 layers of photoshop effects, where there is a flat-coloured background, they selected the outline of the girl, expanded it 3 different times, feathered them.... and the first/top layer closest to the hood seems to have something similar to a noise effect with an artistic brush effect applied, followed by a motion blur set to about 45 degrees and then perhaps a small brush-set of the smudge tool to make manual wisps from the remaining details.... then reduced down in opacity to blend into the rest of the layers.
But then again, I don't know what Auras are supposed to look like, so I am only going by what I currently know.
So based on that report, what is the conclusion? That these experiences are nothing more then a trip out, or does this DMT actually do something else?
In other words, are those experiences just illusions or something that we just can not see with our normal senses we use on an everyday basis, thus those who can only use those senses can not see, therefore it seems trivial to them?
And in more words.... perhaps all these ships and aliens, etc. are all around us all the time..... not something I actually believe per say, but being devil's advocate, there is nothing ruling out the possibility.
Of course there's nothing really ruling out the possibility of God existing either....
Oh and if you want a nice legal trip.... pick up some Salvia Divinorum at your local smoke shop....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvia_divinorum
"Salvia divinorum, also known as Diviner’s Sage, ska María Pastora, Sage of the Seers, or simply by the genus name, Salvia, is a powerful psychoactive herb. It is a member of the sage genus and the Lamiaceae (mint) family. The Latin name Salvia divinorum literally translates to “sage of the seers”. The genus name Salvia is derived from the Latin salvare, meaning “to heal” or “to save”.
Salvia divinorum has a long continuing tradition of use as an entheogen by indigenous Mazatec shamans, who use it to facilitate visionary states of consciousness during spiritual healing sessions. The plant is found in isolated, shaded, and moist plots in Oaxaca, Mexico. It grows to well over a meter in height, has large green leaves, and hollow square stems with occasional white and purple flowers. It is thought to be a cultigen.
Its primary psychoactive constituent is a diterpenoid known as salvinorin A —a potent κ-opioid receptor agonist. Salvinorin A is unique in that it is the only naturally occurring substance known to induce a visionary state this way. Salvia divinorum can be chewed, smoked, or taken as a tincture to produce experiences ranging from uncontrollable laughter to much more intense and profoundly altered states. The duration is much shorter than for some other more well known psychedelics; the effects of smoked salvia typically last for only a few minutes. The most commonly reported after-effects include an increased feeling of insight and improved mood, and a sense of calmness and increased sense of connection with nature—though much less often it may also cause dysphoria (unpleasant or uncomfortable mood). Salvia divinorum is not generally understood to be toxic or addictive. As a κ-opioid agonist, it may have potential as an analgesic and as therapy for drug addictions.
Salvia divinorum has become increasingly well-known and more widely available in modern culture. The rise of the Internet since the 1990s has seen the growth of many businesses selling live salvia plants, dried leaves, extracts, and other preparations. During this time medical experts and accident and emergency rooms have not been reporting cases that suggest particular health concerns, and police have not been reporting it as a significant issue with regard to public order offences. Yet Salvia divinorum has attracted increasing attention from the media and some lawmakers.
Media stories generally raise alarms over salvia’s legal status, headlining, for example, with not necessarily well-supported comparisons to LSD. Parental concerns are raised by focus on salvia’s use by younger teens—the emergence of YouTube videos purporting to depict its use being an area of particular concern in this respect.
The isolated and controversial case of Brett Chidester, a 17-year-old Delaware student who committed suicide in January 2006, has received continued attention. He reportedly purchased salvia from a Canadian-based Internet company some four months prior to taking his own life; his parents consequently blame this for his death."

^ Sorry, 4 months after taking it he commited suicide? Blaming it on a drug he took 4 months prior is retarded as it would have been completely out of his system by then and there are no long lasting effects. 20-30 mins after taking it, you're exactly as you were before you took it.... and you usually forget the majority of what just happened.
Perhaps why he commited suicide is because his life sucked.

Salvia divinorum remains legal in most countries and, within the United States, legal in the majority of states. However, some have called for its prohibition. Most proposed bills have not made it into law, with motions having been voted down in committee, failed, died, or otherwise stalled. Other more recent bills are as yet still at the early proposal stage. There have not been any publicised prosecutions of anti-salvia laws in the few countries and states where it has been made illegal."
Tried it once.... a little too intense for my liking... good thing for me it only lasted about 5-6 minutes, even though it felt like 30 mins.....
no your probably right when i first saw this it was on a video so i could not look closely at it ,this said that's what the Auras are supposed to look like around these indigo kids
it could be B/S about them i don't know when things like this occur its hard to tell truth from fiction cos so many jump on the bandwagon claiming that there one ore there bro or sis or son or daughter is when i saw some videos i was not convinced myself but i had not heard of them before and then when i looked there were lots of spurious videos all done by hippie psychics and airy fairy types it kinda all looked a bit fake i started asking around and some guys i know on utube were convinced about them I'm still not 100% sure.;-)
ive heard of this aint it called jimson weed also or something like that please excuse my spelling im crap at spelling
Ah, so it's just a representation of what they "should" look like.
Well I remember reading a few months back about Auras and people claiming they can see these things, and there was also talk of some form of camera or film which could capture this Aura around people, but from what I gathered from their description, all the camera was doing was recording their thermal emmissions from their body.
I have no reason not to believe they exist, but I am critical about how people attempt to explain or show these things.... and when they do show something, what exactly is it they are showing (Is it what they are actually explaining, etc.)
I'm not sure, I'm not highly informed about Salvia and all it's details. However I notice the above explination claims it grows down in Mexico, but when I image searched the plant a while back and confirmed the details of the plant, it looked a lot like the stuff I've seen growing in the ditches by the road where I grew up in Atlantic Canada..... and it grew like weeds in the summer..... there's some around where I currently live, not to the extent it grew where I lived as a child, but enough for me to gather some samples and do some studying on. (No not by blindly ingesting it, but to get up close and personal with the plant and check out all it's details, rather then some 72dpi image on the web.)
i did post this earlier but admittedly it was amongst allot of others that you probably skipped it i don't blame you im not to good at this YET
How To Use The Aura Camera

Perhaps... I did skim the majority of what was posted, but if it's not broken up for easy reading and very long, then it's hard to absorb it all in one sitting.
And most of the YouTube links I can not view as my present location.
oh i did not know that this is the case
is it just you or all here at CC that are unable to access these videos
