Why do I weep when I hear Ron Paul speak?

Could it be that I'm hearing the truth from a politician for the first time in my life?

I came by Dr. Paul, aka 'dr No', in a strange way. I was googling the words of the Virgin Mary in various Catholic apparitions over the last few centuries.

Up popped Aaron Russo, and from his website's endorsement of Ron Paul, a 10 term congressman and obgyn with 4,000 deliveries under his belt, so I took a look.

maybe you should too.

I know what you mean, he seems to be a little off, but, in the republican debates, he
makes lots of sense, exposes the present administration for what they are, and makes
good sense on 'how' to correct that problem. He makes good sense on economic ideas
as well.

I also notice that he has a fair amount of votes in the campaign, at least enough so that
he doesn't have to drop out yet, so, a good number of those republicans agree with him.
If he 'just' sounded better, and looked 'better', he would get more positive support.

He is very moderate and fits right down the middle, would get along with moderate
democrats, and perhaps they would run a more legitimate government, where they
can get along and agree with many issues, and take care of the country better than the
present administration does.

The fact that he is under a virtual mainstream media blackout tells me he scares somebody.

Don't give up your rights

Ron Paul is unelectable. He stands for too much.

His website, "One of the most insidious provisions hidden in the bill was a scheme to assign every American a "unique health identifier" to facilitate the storage of all health care records in a government-managed database. When Congressman Ron Paul learned of this, he knew he had to act. "As an OB/GYN with more than 30 years experience in private practice, I know better than most the importance of preserving the sanctity of the physician-patient relationship."

He's a doctor and the chances of making any progress on the health care status quo are the same as justice improving under a lwyer, absolutely zero. He even feigns paranoia to keep the nation from using a health database. Sustainability and transparency do not come to mind, outside of taxation.

The man is dangerously immoderate. But then again, that is only his first impression, the political stance of a republican nomination campaign that would be watered down beyond recognition to take on the Democrats.

I don't no any more about him than what I have heard in the debates, so, I'm definitely not an
expert, so, not sure if you guys are doing over kill, or he really is a scary guy.

He was definitely against the present administration and the antics of George Bush, so
in my opinion he can't be all bad.

If I was American, it would be a choice between him or Hucklebee for Pres. Both men would make the Republican party respectable again.

If you invest your love and trust in Obama you will be disappointed again Jim. There are no choices, there is no democracy neither in your country nor in mine, there is only rule by money and power.

Au contraire, mon Dark Beaver !!!

Look at it this way: Each society has its built-in obstacles, its structural walls and impediments to an individual's progress.

All societies contribute to impeding an individual's realization of their dreams.

Yet some succeed. Some secede. Others just cede.

Within the stacked deck rules of the game, how well do you bluff the authorities ?
Within the stacked deck rules of the game, how well do you perform with the cards dealt you ?

Some are born of poverty and rise above it. Others sit in a quagmire of their own pessimism. Many do not appreciate the power and psychology of their own interior programming and monologue, our own inner narrative.

This is so much easier to say than to do.

But it is an other way of looking at it, that breaks the mold of self prophesying pessimism.

You are what you eat.
You are what you envision.

These are our inalienable rights, a part of our nature.

I have great respect for you Jim Moyer, it takes an insightful man with sound judgment to admit when he's wrong. I really don't think you were wrong for being a Republican, the party that promised small government and fiscal propriety changed.

Your mischaracterization of me as a pessimist Jim, what is that but your own inability to apply discrimination, you have lost any ability with critical thought and are condemned to accept whatever spoon is shoved in your mouth by your machine masters. You are what you eat. One has no problem identifying your diet Jim, it's very unhealthy, you invision nathing but slavery and perpetual war. You have already been defeated, you're just to far gone to know.

Pessimist, not even remotely, I have every confidence that what you stand for will be collectively scraped off the boots of mankind soon enough. To think that once upon a time you held so much promise, what a terrible waste, wgy should we emulate your disappointment.

Jimoyer, you just got flamed by DarkBeaver Attack Macro number five. Not Channel No. 5, but Bullschit No. 5.

It's kind of funny when you realize that you can throw a ton of bullschit all the way around the world to fall on DarkBeaver's own head by expressing the least bit of optimism. But he loves it so. What can you do? Do it again please.

So, what I want to know from you is this. I want your website, of your party, that will
save all of us. you must have millions following you, as you wish what we all wish, and
because of your posts, you must be gathering the country around you, so we can follow
you, and begin our recovery and return to respectability.

We will quickly push you into the forefront of this country, elect you as an independent, if that's what you are, and you can take us to the promiseland.

I'm waiting!!!!!

LOL !!

The Dark Beaverishness is a good spirit, who would gleefuly dance at the burning American-Roman Empire. By the way, just in case it might happen, I've been getting assurances (ha! ) from those types who are self-sufficient who can live off the land already to let me and the "Senator", my wife, move in. What do we bring to the table? I'm excellent using a 22. I'll spend my savings on supplies coming in. If there's time.

'Course, good ole' Canada will go down the tubes too just because they're a neighboring bystander. Life is not fair.

But that's the neighborhood.
