Afghanistan and Bush will do Harper in in the next election.

A soldier comes back from serving in Afghanistan and gets killed by the cops because he had a nerve disorder as a result of the trauma he experienced during his unjustified time on war zone that would be fitting the same animal the taliban in a million years.

Soldiers are coming back dead and the Government is negotiating on who is going to pay the biggest amount of the funeral costs, what an absurd scenario to send your son or daughter to serve on a unwindable war and tell the parent you pay the full expense as the Tories are currently on record involved in such disputes with grieving ex Afghanistan soldier parents.

Or they are shot by the cops because they are too fragile in reintegrating with normal every day leaving. That speaks volumes of the poor help the government is providing to help integrate these emotionally wounded souls, instead of shouting them. That is how thankful the phony politician is on one hand in words we honor these brave men and women and on the other hand if they are to hard to handle when they come back we shoot them or we don't pay for their funerals. It stinks so bad I feel sorry for all the suffering soldiers.
WINNIPEG — A man who was shot and killed by Winnipeg police was a former soldier with the Canadian Forces.

Forget about them Socrates ya have to be able to make tough pragmatic decisions in the bussiness world, when the cost benefit analysis barks you've got to go with the numbers you got.
We're growing replacements everyday man the highschools are bursting at the seams with the patriotic little bastards they're easy to catch and they're just dumb enough to go so what's the problem? When and if we run out we can hump-up another thirty or forty thousand a month. Whats it cost to feed and clothe and educate a dead body I wonder? Someday maybe teenagers won't be so easy to con into getting blown up in grown-ups wars eh. I don't think so and niether do the filthy bankers.

Well said dark beaver
and when we look at these con ads on the telly designed to lure these very important generation of great minds into an inviroment of doom ( an unpleasant or disastrous destiny) is nothing more than a man with his eye sight fulling a blind man, so sad and dispicable to see these young great people sucrefise them selves for elitism. War sucks big time and important politishians have no balls to tell the truth, and that sucks too!

This whole thing about the Tories looking to get a grip on a majority makes me want to throw up. I have been in Canada for over 44 years, during this time I have lived through two Tory governments I have never seen anything great come out of them, it has always been stuff it down your throat type of environment and at the end leave office with a colossal debt behind.
The cost for Afghanistan at the end of the day will be a number $$$$$$$$$$$$$ that will heart many Canadians.
I am not voting for the Tories who want to support stupid wars and squander my taxed dollars, in the quest of a brown nose mission south of the border with Harpers buddy Bush. The war on terror what a bull**** story. Canada's involvement on this war is unjustified and elitism driven.

According to the death rate of Afghans the country will eventually be piecefull and the poppies will finally be left to thrive. I'm sick to death of listening to flag sucking morons Socratees, I desperately need a good drunk. But it's chistmess and I got to be good or else I'll end up with a chunk of ****ty coal that won't heat up a coffee.

You are right Dark Beaver, holidays go better with a nice bottle or what ever the person feels good with as long as your soul is at peace and you are not hurting your self or anyone else. And when it comes to the flag sucking followers, man do they ever need a reality check. I mean seriously some of these people believe stuff that makes sanity start asking questions.

Afghanistan may be Harper's pet, but it was given to him by the Liberals. But don't let reality get in the way of your atute political analysis.

It isn't his pet either, even if you think its a bad idea, a war is a serious matter.

You don't fly into a country, bomb it to rubble, get a bunch of your people killed then decide "You know what? Bad idea, Mulligan! Sorry soldiers, you died for nothing"

Could he handle the war better? Who knows, he doesn't handle it since that isn't his job. I got alot of beefs with Harper, but this isn't even his issue. Its like going to Burger King and blaming them for the foul tasting Big Mac you ate yesterday.

Marry Christmas or Happy Holiday Season my great forum friend, the Libs were wrong in initiating this military commitment, Harper during his campaigning on the last election was telling Canada give us a chance to clean the mess, what mess? Harper on an interview with CBC the other day was warning Canadians that 2008 will be a difficult year given consideration to the fundamentals in place. He is setting the stage because the Afghani war will demand a vast amount on hard taxed dollars Canadians have worked hard for and to tell us that hard times are up ahead so he can live up to Bushes military ideals is pure bull ****.
We are loosing in Afghanistan and the rooster will come home to roost for sure, to bad some bright young man and women will loose their life's and the Torrie's will negotiate the funeral costs with the parents. Marry Christmas my dear friends. :angryfire:

If we can't place the responsibility on the Prime Minister of Canada to stop killing your young men and women soldiers, who would you ask to stop this stupidity? This is not about Burger King vs MacDonald's, lets not compare sun flower seeds with elephant. I don't know if you have any kids but if you tel me that your kids worth is intertwined with Harpers lies and bad priorities man oh man.
