Big deal - as long as the Opposition parties act like Opposition parties and not like governments-in-waiting, the Tories will reign. . .the farmers will make sure of that.

It not up to the parties it's up to the people and sometimes they just want a breath of fresh air like in P.E.I. which just replaced it's longtime conservative majority with a liberal one.

I just find it funny that the Federal Liberals are claiming this as a huge victory, when the Alberta Liberals have come out and supported the federal Conservatives several times. There's a running joke that they would do a lot better if they changed their name, and truth be told they have little in common with the federal Liberals.

Seems to me that which ever party is standing in government ends up at odd with the provincial counter part over issues like transfer payments and such. More often like in name only.
