Im having a REALLY tough week. My car insuranced was raised 20 dollars a month for the next 6 months....I usually have 3 dollars left over after paying the bills. Allong with that increase I have been paying 100 a month on electric, I usually pay about 50-75 a month. We think its the refrigerator and the landlord is looking into a replacement. So Im a bit stressed.

Any Amaricans with a really good sugestion for car insurance? I have 2 speeding tickets that as of septemver are 3 years old

You have to shop around for your car insurance. I know we did a couple of years ago and saved $400, so it is well worth your while.

Sorry you are feeling down. Join the club, yesterday I went to the doctor because I was coughing and she told me I have bronchitis, now I am on antibiotics for 10 days and them make me sick.

USAA is really good, to me anyways. I have two cars (2004 & 2006) that are covered fully. One has 0 deductable on collision and $50 on comprehensive. the other is $500 on both. I end up paying about $132 a month for the both. Before I picked up the 2006 vehicle I was paying around $80 for just the one car. Now USAA says it is only in business for military members, but they have never once verified that I'm actually in the military, and I've been with them for about 10 years or so.

I also had a car stolen about two years ago, and they had it paid off within a week, which really surprised me.

I have GEICo and have had them for years. I have a pricey car but when I compared their rates with
other companies, I decided to stay with them even though there were two below their rates because
I actually had better service and a reliable company behind the policy.

My ONLY cricitism of GEICo is when my renewal is due for one month prior to the deadline they send me three e-mails, two bills, and the insurance policy with another bill - I told them to stop wasting paper and if they continued to litter my mailbox I would go elsewhere....we'll see what happens. I have never been late with the payment so they are just wasting their time and mine too.

I am sorry you are financially drained right now but the warmer weather will be lowering your bills soon... have you thought of applying for assistance rates or a flat rate so you can budget your
money year round with the same or a comparable amount? Many utility companies would rather work with a customer than have to go after you for non payment...

Dear Sparrow

I am sorry you are feeling bad too.... no fun getting medicine which makes you sicker! Bah on the doc!

Treat yourself by snuggling up, doing nothing, watching silly stuff on the tube or reading a really good book..... and getting some rest!

Three of my friends have had terrible colds for the past month and I have to stay away from them except for visiting on the phone.... colds would lay me very low....but I miss them. I'll buy them all
ice cream when we are allowed back in the world together!!!

Thanks for you good wishes and I am doing exactly what you said. Although I have to admit the coming onto CC really takes my mind of my woes. It is nice to be able to chat with others even if we don't always agree.
Thank again and have a nice day.
