The liberal party will form the minority government and maybe the majority because the liberal party has twelve-year track record for helping all Canadians and twelve years of majority satisfied Canadian voters.

This is the very reason the conservative party is panicking backtracking on their controversial decisions.

The conservatives realize that their days are numbered.

Look up "arrogance" in the dictionary, and there is a picture of a guy wearing a Liberal Party pin.

There is no party at this point worthy of Canada , both Libs and Cons have led us down the pot holed filled road ,Cons haven't told us what the Libs really did and they have an agenda that is about something totally different that what they platformed on ,I feel we are being run by a alter government not even in this country , Its is very obvious the election is coming they are all ready advertising ---its a big farce --

So what do we do to counter this? Do we become apathetic? We have to get ourselves engaged in our political system. It is difficult to know which party to support. All we can do is examine the platforms of the various parties and make a selection from that basis.

You are still going on about a hidden agenda, GIVE IT A REST, I have spoken with so many of the higher up conservative MPs I am good acquaintances and friends with vitually everyone involved with my local riding association. Our last candidate for instance, who has had more than a couple sit down talks with Harper. I am a party insider for goodness sake (granted and outer fringe party insider) THERE IS NOO HIDDEN AGENDA!

As for the budget vote, I think It will be interesting actually, there is a large incentive for the bloc to vote for the budget in the form of fiscal balancing which is what the bloc requested for the next budget although they may very well say "Dees iz not enuff"

but really you're right, all the parties are ready for an election.

I dunno. The way Steve's been sprinkling eco-dollars and hints about the fiscal imbalance has me double-checking for the part of their party platform where they promised to behave like a bunch of Republicans. Can you say "increased spending"?

I won't be surprised to see the budget pass. With all his posturing, I'm starting to think I might get a kick out of watching the Grandstand have to follow through. or not.

I'm sorry, the only reason that some people find Harper refreshing is because you are always being rinsed in the spin cycle. Harper controls the media, and what is said. Since the election many neutral forms have been closed. I.E Yahoo Forums. Blogs have been silenced. Mp's have been reassigned seats over and over again. Local people who voted for these Conservative MP's are left feeling betrayed and not fooled for the stab in the back. I.E John Baird interfering with a municipal election and sole responsible for the derailment of the OTrain in Ottawa.

OMG CDNbear, I need to qoute that.

I can't stop laughing, that was amazing!

Do you I have your permission to put that qoute in my signature?

--------------

Now that I slowly have stopped laughing.

It used to be the Reform and PC split the right, but the right is purely to the Conservatives.

But NOW our left is split by the NDP, Liberals, and a small chunk from the Bloc Quebecois & Green.

Liberals are sweet but they destroy us, the Conservatives are tough, but they help us.

I don't create my impressions of Canadians firmly based on the internet:

Due to, the internet is politically, liberal..

So I think the majority of Canadians are refreshed with the current gov. and are going to give the Cons. a majority.

Its like: they got to prove themselves with a minority, and now we give them a majority.

Minorities are so useless...

I like Harper, he is refreshing.

I can never, EVER, see Dion running this nation.

I will say this, if Ignatieff had gotten the nomination, I would be worried about the Conservatives. But with Dion, I am pretty confident about them.

I did and I peeled the picture off and it was a conservative voting pin. I'm not fooled, by the conservatives now and in the past. After the budget today, I say we just sold Canada to the highest bidder on the backs of the poor!
