Many people in North America only know the Israeli viewpoint, but do not know or consider the viewpoints of the other belligerents in this conflict.
I really hope you jest (though reading your musings you obviously do not) when you say that. You should know, that in North America and in fact also within the EU, most people are in fact tuned in to msm which thereby gives them not only information as to what is occuring, but also current and up to date info.

So, what say you?

Even I have to dissagree with that goat.

Go google indy news sites and see the difference between the msm and the reality of the world. Two totally different monsters.

Although, I will agree with your point about earths musings. lol.

...8 March 07: Israeli soldiers use two Palestinian minors as human shields

Testimonies taken by B'Tselem reveal that during the army's operation in Nablus in late February, soldiers used two Palestinian children, a fifteen-year-old boy and a eleven-year-old girl, and a twenty-four-year old man as human shields. The use of human shields constitutes a flagrant breach of international humanitarian law and is explicitly and clearly prohibited by Israeli military orders. B'Tselem wrote to the Judge Advocate General and demanded that he immediately order a Military Police investigation into the matter.

B'TSELEM - The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories was established in 1989 by a group of prominent academics, attorneys, journalists, and Knesset members. It endeavors to document and educate the Israeli public and policymakers about human rights violations in the Occupied Territories, combat the phenomenon of denial prevalent among the Israeli public, and help create a human rights culture in Israel.

CB - I'm not anti-Jewish or even anti-Israel for calling it as I see it. Unless you believe B'tselem is also anti-Jewish anti-Israeli for calling it as they see it. How about Ha'aretz? Is this another anti-Israel source?

B'Tselem: IDF used Palestinian girl as human shield in Nablus

By Reuters

Israel Defense Forces soldiers used an 11-year-old Palestinian girl as a "human shield" during an operation against militants in the West Bank town of Nablus last week, an Israeli human rights group said on Thursday.

The IDF said it was checking the information from the B'Tselem group, which monitors Israeli actions in the occupied territory. Israeli law bans the military from using human shields.

Why don't you go to the same site and read up on popular bistro's in Tel Aviv? Its in today's Art's and Leisure:

Dining Out / Mediocre - except for the coffee
By Daniel Rogov
The newly opened Tel Aviv bistro Elka offers a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. With dark wood floors and tables that contrast with beige ceilings and columns, alongside old-fashioned lighting fixtures, a long dark wooden bar and large, old-fashioned mirrors on the walls, the place resembles a comfortable neighborhood cafe-bistro set in Paris. Even the music, ranging from jazz to Sinatra, and the waiters, clothed in long black aprons, seem French. Had there been a few filmy drapes hung over the large windows to hide the street outside, the fantasy image might have been complete...

Do these sources sound anti-Israeli? If they do, is the problem what you are hearing or your ears?

And you qualify that statement with a three year old article?

You really are pathetic in your hate.

That article was a year after the US invaded Iraq. Anyone with common sense would have known that what the US did in Iraq was about as proper as a lynching even before the US dropped their first bomb.

What was your opinion at the time of that article? Are you still in favor killing as many Iraqis as necessary to lynch Saddam Hussein? How long did it take you to figure out that you had been had? I bet you were in the majority.

So are you claiming B'tselem and Ha'aretz are sources of anti-Jewish hate propaganda? Because those are my sources.

How is it so many people can't see what's in plain sight? People who support what the Israeli government does would have to be extremely callous or wilfully blind. Which are you?

By the way I've only met a few Israeli citizens, but I can honestly say every one of them seemed perfectly normal, and the few I've traded small talk with seemed likeable enough. I've travelled through the US extensively and I've only met a few Americans I didn't like. Is that hateful enough for you?

If you read my posts you will find strong criticism of the Israeli and American governments. I don't even blame the soldiers trying to save their asses. I'm unqualified to judge soldiers. Soldiers should judge soldiers.

I can judge civilian leaders for turning brave soldiers who seek to serve their country with honor into poorly paid mercenaries who slaughter the innocent.

I believe in non-violence. How about you? Do you believe in violence?

Would Jesus, M.K.Ghandi or Martin Luther King use human shields?

Judge a tree by the fruit that it bears....

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind...

It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can stop him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important...

I see what you see earth, but my loyalty lays with those that were not formed under the banner of the nazi regime, ie Hezbollah, Hamas, PLO etc. Any counrty that either supports or defends them, in any way is shyte. Period.
People who support what the Israeli government does would have to be extremely callous or wilfully blind. Which are you?
Niether.

Anyone that even remotely acknowledges the Hezbollah as a defence force is either a nazi sympathizer or a nazi. Which are you?

btw, I have met Lebonese, Palestinian, Israeli, Syrians, Jordanians, in their homeland, loved just about all of them. The ones I didn't like, were the ones that spit vile racist hate filled venom at someone just because of their religion. Is that hateful enough for YOU?

If you read my posts you will find strong criticism of the Israeli and American governments.
You will also find in your posts, defence of and admiration for the Hezbollah, what does that say about you?

I don't even blame the soldiers trying to save their asses. I'm unqualified to judge soldiers. Soldiers should judge soldiers.
Let me judge then, I am an ex Soldier. The IDF, though they have many a fault, do not work under the best of condition. They do not face a uniformed adversary, they face a group of cowards that hide in and amongst the civilian population. The IDF has had to wage a war of atrition, with such a cowardly and evil group, that the IDF had to embrace its enemies tactics to make head way.
I can judge civilian leaders for turning brave soldiers who seek to serve their country with honor into poorly paid mercenaries who slaughter the innocent.
I thought you said you weren't able to judge a Soldier, yet there you go???

And you based that piece of emotion on what???
I believe in non-violence. How about you? Do you believe in violence?
I believe violence begets violence, lets not forget who started the wars here.
Would Jesus, M.K.Ghandi or Martin Luther King use human shields?
If they were surrounded by the likes of the Hezbollah, Hamas and PLO, you never know.
Judge a tree by the fruit that it bears....
Absolutely. Lebonon, bears Hezbollah fruit, so herbicide it is. Palestine hands out "Mien Kampf" in Arabic, that tree needs to be cut down to.

Hmmm, the IDF use one Palestinian(that doesn't die) as a human shield and they're called criminals.

The Hezbollah use schools, hospitals, residential homes, apartments, etc. that inevitably get hundreds killed and their called freedom fighters.

That dog don't hunt!!!

Speculations at his best, period.

It is israel who target those schools , hospital, residential homes, and pretend that hezbollah is using them, to justified their deadly attacks,.

http://thebosun.wordpress.com/2006/08/07/annan-mum-on-hizballahs-wounding-of-un-workers/ I guess the Hizbollah don't give a crap about the UN either.

http://www.tau.ac.il/jcss/sa/v9n3p5Ophir.html
Why were the Hizbollah firing from the vicinity of Tyre rather than somewhere outside of Tyre?

The UN Mission adds that this morning, Hezbollah fired rockets from the vicinity of the UN position in Tibnin,....
Apparently the Hezbollah don't just use Lebanese houses, hospitals, etc. as safe places to fire from. Looks like they use UN posts, too.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0608/06/bn.02.html
Nice place in Beirut for the Hizbollah to hide from the Israeli.

Point is, if you're going to pick a position from which to take sides, don't ignore all the evidence against your side when you make assertions. Someone will provide evidence that your assertion is screwy.

Prove it was an accident. I spose it's accidental that Hizbollah launch rocket attacks from close to UN posts, too.

That's only your opinion, not fact.

What about the rest of the info in the links? No comment? I didn't think you'd comment much on evidence against you.

Your turn now. Any evidence that Hizbollah don't use civilian structures for hiding places?
