I do like the sea critter idea:

0-50 posts: virus
50-100 posts: bacterium
100-250 posts: amoeba
250-500 posts: plankton
500-1000 posts: krill
750-1000 posts: fish
1500-2000 posts: shark
2000-3000 posts: orca
3000-4000 posts: beluga
4000-5000 posts: humpback
5000-10,000 posts: kraken

Let's see if we can come up with anything else and then we'll run a poll.
No blue whales? (Up to 108 feet long and 150 tons) http://www.acsonline.org/factpack/bluewhl.htm
or playful octopi?

i dont like blue on its own. it seems like the person has changed colour. I can see why blue whales ought to be involved though. also i think kraken is spelt without the c.

Yeah, I flubbed the spelling. Another name for the Blue whale is "Sulfur bottom" but it is still two words.

Ok.. so here's what we have so far:

1. Newbie - Knows too much
2. Newbie - galactic overlord
3. Newbie - don't bother arguing. I KNOW.
4. Ocean Creatures
5. Chess Pieces
6. Birds
7. Scientific Prefixes
8. Greek Alphabet

The first three I am not in favour of... but I'm sure there's more members who may have input.

i like the monkeys and apes. i'm disliking the scientific prefixes and greek letters now. I think it's too boring... i think the final outcome should be entertaining, after all it has no other real value
