Strangest looking animal

I have to say this is the most bizzare looking little creature I've seen as far as land animals go.

The star nosed mole has 22 sensory appendages on it's snout. The organ has more than 25,000 sensory receptors, so to compare, imagine having six times the sensitivity of your entire hand concentrated in a single fingertip.

It reminds me of a mutant beaver.
