The French and the rest of Continental Europe (and, to a lesser extent, the Americans and Canadians) need to cut down on the protectionism and follow the British example: Britain is always very willing to allow foreign companies to take over her companies. This has meant that foreigners usually deride the British for this, obviously not realising that it is actually THEIR protectionism policies that are usually more damaging whereas the British have got it right.

I've been sick of France ever since I can remember. They really have no right to continue down this path of ignoring EU objectives and laws. This article is totally right in saying that they feel they're immuned to everything.

Thanks to the UK and France, though, Euope is becoming the armpits of Africa due to allowing mass legal and illegal immigration and thanks to the Southern countries who hand out amnesties to African criminals en mass.

To France and the UK: You do realise that by allowing mass-immigration from the Third World has an impact on the average IQ level of citizens and in turn has a direct mathematical impact on quality of life?

Anyways, immigration is the policy I hate most about France but it's just another factor to take into consideration when talking about the demise of France.

Hey, maybe if we can get a bunch of EU beaurocrats to go out into the cities of France, blow up cars, attack locals, shoot at police officers and burn down government buildings, we'd get the French government to give into our concerns.. It seems to work with everything else.

To France and the UK: You do realise that by allowing mass-immigration from the Third World has an impact on the average IQ level of citizens and in turn has a direct mathematical impact on quality of life?

What is that supposed to mean? There are lots of reasons to debate immigration policy, but outdated racial stereotypes are not one of them. Maybe put away your copy of the 'Bell Curve' and read a real book.

Perhaps he meant that many of these immigrants can't read or write and they have no desire to learn?
