Ship loads of ordinance that has reached best before date got disposed of, requiring certain contractors to keep the doors open. Many military personal got real time training. Trump got his name in the news. Overall, I would say it went exactly as planned.

Trump has repeatedly claimed "100%" success, telling reporters on April 7 that the U.S. "met and exceeded all military objectives".
Critics argue the claim is premature, noting that thousands of US service members are still in danger, the Strait of Hormuz remains contested, and the war lacks clear, long-term success, according to The Guardian and BBC. Despite the declaration of victory, reports indicate lingering issues, including rising petrol prices, shaky peace negotiations, and continued Iranian defiance in the region.

Trump on Saturday said he was reviewing the proposal but expressed doubt it would lead to a deal, adding on social media that “they have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done" in the nearly 50 years since the Islamic Revolution there? Huh…so Trump is trying to unite Irans neighbours with Iran in his completely tone deaf response? Seems about right.
