Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said that any approach by military vessels toward the Strait of Hormuz would be treated as a violation of a cease-fire agreement, according to a statement cited by Fars news agency. Earlier, state media reported that navy special forces have deployed to the southern coast, signaling readiness for a potential invasion by American troops.

Less than a week into a cease-fire between the two countries, President Trump threatened that the U.S. military would “finish up the little that is left of Iran” and said its water and electric plants would be “easy to hit.”

Nope the enemy of Boeing. MANPADS
I thought Boeing was its own worst enemy. MANPADS sounds like something that the Liberal/NDP would absolutely insist needs to be in every washroom.
Something to ponder. Iran builds some "banger" missiles.
Well, they had a good base to build upon.

I wonder how good they are at torpedoes?
Wait a week, or a day, or…?

Coke missiles from 40 years ago?

Nah.. They’re just a lot fucking smarter than you give them credit for.
Wait a week, or a day, or…?
Couple days.

Gulf states, whose economies are already under strain, had hoped Mr Trump would use force to reopen the strait. A second blockade may not be what they had in mind. Nor are global markets likely to take kindly to a further escalation when trading opens on Monday. Fill your fuel tanks today.
The U.S. military said it will begin a blockade of ships leaving Iran's ports on Monday, and Tehran threatened to retaliate against ports of its Gulf neighbours, after weekend talks failed to reach a deal to end the war, leaving a ceasefire in jeopardy?
Tehran is demanding control of the Strait of Hormuz, payment of war reparations and a ceasefire across the region, including in Lebanon, according to Iranian state TV and officials, as well as the release of its frozen assets abroad.
The ceasefire that halted six weeks of U.S. and Israeli airstrikes is under threat, with only a week left to run, after Washington said Tehran had rejected its demands at talks in Islamabad, the highest-level discussions since Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Oil prices surged when trade reopened on Monday, with no sign ‌of a swift reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to ease the worst ever disruption in supplies.

Since the war started, Iran has effectively shut the strait to all vessels except its own, saying ships would only be allowed through under Iranian control and subject to a fee. U.S. President Donald Trump said he would now block Iran's ships too, and any vessels that paid Iran a toll…and then what? What will Trump do with these “vessels that paid Iran a toll?”

An Iranian military spokesperson, quoted by state media, said any U.S. restrictions on vessels in international waters would be illegal and amount to "piracy". If Iranian ports were threatened, no port in the Gulf or Gulf of Oman would remain secure, the spokesperson said.

Earlier, Iran's Revolutionary Guards said any military vessels approaching the strait would be considered to have violated the ceasefire.

On Sunday, Trump had posted on social media: "No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas," adding, (?)”Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL!"
So….so with both sides declaring victory, and with neither side willing to capitulate to the other…here we are for round next. These were not Islamagood talks.

With the war unpopular at home and rising energy prices causing political blowback, Trump paused the U.S.-Israeli bombing campaign last week after threatening to destroy Iran's "whole civilisation" (again?) unless it reopened the strait.

Iran has effectively ignored that demand, while bringing new demands of its own to the talks, including recognition of its control of the strait, the lifting of all sanctions and the withdrawal of forces from the huge U.S. military bases across the Middle East.

Trump has declared victory, despite failing so far to achieve the objectives he set out at the start of the war: to eliminate Iran's ability to strike its neighbours, ‌end its nuclear programme and make it easier for Iranians to topple their government.

Iran's chief negotiator, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, posted a map of Washington-area gasoline prices on social media with the comment: "Enjoy the current pump figures. With the so-called 'blockade'. Soon you'll be nostalgic for $4–$5 gas."

Uh-oh.

Trump has gone and pissed off the Pope and thus the Catholics.

Bad bad move. There is zero support for Zionism from Catholics.

That’s pretty weird. Attacking the Pope?
Why? Catholics are the tightest anti-Zionists going.

It's obvious Catholic Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, Argentina etc are dead against what's going on in Israel.

Open your eyes.

Epstein was a cult leader.

Here's the real obvious.

There is no documented or verifiable number of Catholics (or any religious group) "in" the Epstein files, nor any credible tally of those "suspected" based on religious affiliation.e186de

The Epstein files—primarily court documents from the Virginia Giuffre v. Ghislaine Maxwell case, flight logs, address books, emails, and more recently released DOJ materials under the Epstein Files Transparency Act (millions of pages as of 2025–2026)—list associations, communications, and mentions of hundreds of individuals.

No Catholic Clergy or Officials Implicated

No Catholic priests, bishops, cardinals, or Church officials appear in the files as clients, participants, or suspects in Epstein's sex trafficking activities.

Catholic sources reviewing the releases explicitly note that "no priests have been found on the Epstein files list."e6de89

Searches and analyses of the named individuals (e.g., via Wikipedia's compiled list or DOJ releases) turn up no such connections.955855

Separate 2019 New York lawsuits (under the Child Victims Act) named both Epstein's estate and the Catholic Church as defendants—but these were unrelated civil cases filed by different victims against different institutions. They do not link the two.769cb5

What the Files Do Show Regarding Catholicism

Recent 2025–2026 DOJ releases highlight Epstein's personal disdain for the Catholic Church and its teachings:
Epstein criticized the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's philanthropy as "Catholicism at its worst" for affirming the equal value of every life (contrasting his own views on population and progress).2cbecb

Emails and messages show Epstein and Steve Bannon (a former Trump adviser with Catholic conservative ties) discussing strategies to undermine Pope Francis, including a proposed (but unrealized) documentary based on the book In the Closet of the Vatican.

Bannon wrote phrases like "Will take down Francis." Cardinal Raymond Burke later distanced himself from a Bannon-linked group over related controversies.b08973

A public photo exists of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell at a general audience with St. John Paul II (pre-2005), but files and fact-checks confirm no deeper involvement or residence at the Vatican. Claims otherwise (e.g., misinterpreted contractor emails) have been debunked by Catholic outlets.696ffa

These references portray Epstein's network viewing the Vatican as a political target, not evidence of Catholic complicity in his crimes.

Epstein himself mocked Catholic doctrine on life issues.

"Suspected" Claims
Any "suspicions" tying Catholics broadly to the files appear in fringe online discussions, conspiracy posts, or misreadings (e.g., linking unrelated Church abuse scandals to Epstein).

These lack support in the actual documents. Catholic responses to the files have focused on condemning the evil described, with no internal reckoning required because no Church personnel are implicated.125047

In short: Zero Catholic clergy or officials are named or suspected in the Epstein files in any criminal or associative capacity tied to the core allegations.

Broader lists of named people (politicians, celebrities, etc.) include individuals of various faiths (or none), but religion was never a factor in the investigations or releases. If new documents emerge, they would be public via the DOJ Epstein library, but current evidence shows no pattern or count related to Catholicism.d61210

For primary sources, the full releases are available at justice.gov/epstein. Let me know if you'd like links to specific documents or a deeper look at any named individual.

Because it's an Israeli farce with a Trump proxy.

When Trump gets out of NATO, Bibi will attack Turkey and US can sit out fighting Israel until President AOC gets them back in.

From Haaretz

Trump threatens Iranian attack boats in Hormuz as Netanyahu backs blockade

PM Netanyahu said on Monday that the key issue in U.S.-Iran talks is the removal of enriched uranium from Iran, adding that VP Vance promised Tehran would not have the ability to enrich uranium for the coming decades. Netanyahu also said that Israel supports the U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz announced by Trump, adding that Israel and the U.S. are fully coordinating.

Why isn't Israel at the negotiating table?

Because there was nothing actually being negotiated, and it was all smoke and mirrors? A big photo shoot, & nothing more?

NATO allies, including Britain and France, said they would not be drawn into the conflict by taking part in the blockade, saying instead they were working on an initiative to open the strait, through which a fifth of global oil supplies normally passes.

With Orban gone the US lost its veto for cash in the EU giving NATO more clout with Brussels.

Eliminated? The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) centre announced it was notified that the US blockade will apply “without distinction” to ships engaging with Iranian ports and oil terminals.

“The restrictions encompass the entirety of the Iranian coastline, including the ports and energy infrastructure,” UKMTO, which is affiliated with the British navy, said in an advisory.

While Trump’s move to blockade Iran’s ports could hamper the already ailing Iranian economy, it is unlikely to loosen the Iranian grip on Hormuz or bring down energy prices.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Iranian parliament speaker, who led Tehran’s negotiating team in Islamabad, warned on Sunday that the US naval siege will only raise petrol prices for Americans.
1776105491927.jpeg
A US official said “there is continued engagement between the US and Iranand forward motion on trying to get an agreement,” multiple outlets reported?

The mention of continued engagement comes as Donald Trump continues to deploy strong language about Iran, adding to the confusion as to whether a diplomatic solution is on the horizon or highly uncertain.

Iran has responded by calling the blockade "piracy" and warning that no ports in the Persian Gulf will be safe if its own facilities are targeted.

I guess we'll find ot how good Iranian torpedoes are in a swarm. I'm unaware of torpedoes swarms used prior but I'd do it.
