The chilling moment train stabbing suspect Anthony Williams, 32, wielded a huge knife in a barbershop in London the day before the Cambridgeshire train attack.

It wouldn't surprise me if they soon come out with the old gem: "He is mentally ill."

Well, that sounds like the epitome of mental stability. Nothing to see here and no need to release a motive. Definitely not terrorism. Move along.
Anthony Williams, 32, from Peterborough was charged on Monday with 10 counts of attempted murder.

So…uh…Tony…can I call you Tony? So…uh…why did you stab all those folks on public transport?”

Do ya think they’d ask Anthony that one ‘cuz that would be an important question that the public (let’s call them the stabbies or potential stabbies) should get an answer to that question, right?

Blackleaf, seriously, because you’re over there and you’re used to the accents, could you understand what this guy was saying? Is that what a British accent from that neighbourhood a couple hours from your place sounds like?

They'll ask the question, alright, you can be sure of that.

In Britain you can be jailed for 40 years just for ATTEMPTED murder, and you can be jailed for the rest of your life with no possibility of parole for actual murder.

This guy is charged with TEN attempted murders on a Doncaster to London train.

Either he will be found completely not guilty and set free, or he will be found culpable through insanity and spend the rest of his life in Broadmoor or he will be found sane and a sick murderous bastard who will spend the rest of his life in Wormwood Scrubs.

I can't tell what he's saying but I can tell he's British. His accent is from south east England but I can't make out his words. He's from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, where he boarded the train and he speaks with that sort of accent. I can make out the accent but the words are muffled. It's like it was recorded with a bad microphone.

People in northern England think that people in the south east of England speak "posh". He sounds "posh" but I can't tell what he's saying. So he's definitely from southern England.

Anthony Williams....English Sunni or Welsh Shia?

It wouldn't surprise me if his real name is Mohammed Patel and he's from Pakistan but he's telling the British Transport Police that he's called Anthony from Peterborough. He's thinking: "Yeah, I will be charged with ten counts of attempted murder and spend the rest of my life in prison but at least I'll make it look like a Brit did it."

Transport Secretary praises heroic train crew member who saved lives

Williams has been charged with ten counts of attempted murder - attempted murder can lead to 40 years in prison in England and Wales.

He has also been charged with carrying a knife on a train and ABH on a police officer.

British Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander says a member of the train's crew who helped stop the attack is "critical but stable” and said "there are people who are alive today who wouldn't be alive had it not been for his actions."

The high speed Azuma train crew member who put himself in harm's way to save passengers is "critical but stable" in hospital, said Alexander.

It found guilty it is unlikely that Williams will ever be released from prison.

Patel is Indian not Pakistani and I wouldn't be shocked if his parents had a fish and chip shoppe.

Ever heard of suicide by cop?
