Yes the same Sunni Isis that youve known and loved for decades that was al Qaeda in Iraq.

If they wanted you to know reality they put names behind "Rebel forces" but anyone who has paid attention for 15 years knows that the rebels are Isis.

Its not a secret.
Israel backed Isis. Neat huh?
Is Isis pro-BRICS?
Hezbollah was fighting Isis in Syria.
Ok, please feel free to post a link to show exactly which Islamic Jihadist group or faction in Syria that Israel is supporting or endorsing “currently”, because I’ve looked and I can’t find something to support what you’re stating repeatedly.

It doesn’t mean it’s not happening, but it does mean that I can’t find it. If so, can you point me in the right direction without something super obscure?

keyword being “Current” as in “Now” type stuff…

You cant find recent because it ties all together. Hezbollah was fight Isis two weeks ago. Who was backing ISIS in fighting Hezbollah? Botswana?

Did Isis have Hogwarts do a cloacking spell that finds them disappear from American media and battlefield?

Ok, much has changed in Syria right now. Who in Syria is Israel backing now? I can see the Americans are backing Kurds in the north & some other group on the eastern edge of Syria, but at this point, all I can find is that the Israeli’s are bombing the shit out of any stock pile they can find, & moving up through the Golan Heights in order to keep anybody else from moving in there.

Your link above, first paragraph:
Israel has been secretly providing aid to Syrian rebels in the Golan Heights for years with the goal of maintaining a buffer zone of friendly forces to keep ISIS and forces aligned with Iran at bay, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

Anyway, it’s late. Tomorrow is another day.

Cue the CNN-ish intense music:
Israel says it is not seeking conflict with the new authorities in Syria, but its jets have been bombing targets across the country over the past three days to ensure Syrian military equipment does not fall into hostile hands.

Regional security sources and officers within the now fallen Syrian army described Tuesday morning's air strikes as the heaviest yet, hitting military installations and airbases across Syria, destroying dozens of helicopters and jets, as well as Republican Guard assets in and around Damascus.

The rough tally of 200 raids overnight had left nothing of the Syrian army's assets, said the sources.

In propapgandaland will you find specifics on current battle or do you need to rewind to when you or anyone else weren't looking? Check the past.

When propaganda needs you afraid they are Isis, when they do something you like they are rebels.

Thats how it works when youre being used.

Syria applies to join BRICS, says ambassador
Syria has submitted an application to join the BRICS bloc of developing economies, according to an announcement by the country’s ambassador to Moscow in an interview with Russian state television.

In his discussion with TASS, Bashar Jaafari expressed that Damascus is "deeply interested" in joining the bloc. "We have made a formal written request for membership,” he said.

Recently, Türkiye also expressed its bid to join BRICS.

The BRICS alliance was founded in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, India and China, with South Africa joining in 2010. It has recently undergone an expansion and now includes Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates. Saudi Arabia has said it’s considering joining, and Azerbaijan and Malaysia have formally applied.

BRICS has a stated aim to amplify the voice of major emerging economies to counterbalance the Western-led global order. Its founding members have called for a fairer world order and the reform of international institutions such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

PM Netanyahu said that Israel wants to have diplomatic relations with the new regime in Syria. Israel's navy said it launched a wide-scale assault on Syria's naval fleet to prevent its use by hostile forces. The IDF denied reports that Israeli tanks were advancing towards Damascus, saying no soldiers had gone outside the Golan Heights' demilitarized zone. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Israel attacked more than 100 targets in 12 hours, calling the strikes "the heaviest in the history of Syria." The International Federation of Journalists said that 104 journalists and media workers have been killed so far in 2024, half of them during the war in Gaza. The airplane used by Israel's Mossad chief returned to Israel from Egypt amid ongoing truce negotiations with Hamas.

Here's what you need to know 431 days into the war
What happened today
An aerial photo shows a Syrian naval ship destroyed in an overnight Israeli attack on the port city of Latakia on Tuesday.
■ SYRIA: The Israeli Navy launched a wide-scale assault overnight into Tuesday on Syrian military vessels, aiming to dismantle Syria's naval fleet and prevent its assets from being seized by hostile forces, the IDF said. The British security firm Ambrey said the IDF targeted at least six Syrian naval vessels in an attack on the Syrian port of Latakia on Monday. Later on Tuesday, the IDF estimated that 80 percent of the Syrian Army's capabilities have been destroyed.
  • PM Netanyahu said that Israel wants to have diplomatic relations with the new regime in Syria. Earlier, Defense Minister Israel Katz said that he instructed the IDF "to establish a sterile defense zone" from "terror threats in southern Syria, with no continued Israeli presence." Katz claimed this is "in order to prevent the establishment and formation of terror in Syria – a reality similar to that in Lebanon and Gaza before October 7."

  • Israel has conducted its heaviest strikes in Syria since the collapse of Bashar Assad's regime, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, saying that it attacked more than 100 targets across the country in less than 12 hours, and adding that the strikes were "the heaviest in the history of Syria."

  • The IDF denied that Israeli forces had advanced into Syrian territory beyond the demilitarized zone in the Golan Heights area, after Syrian sources said the incursion had reached up to 25 kilometers from the capital Damascus.

  • The Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen reported that Israeli tanks were three kilometers away from the town of Qatana, itself around 20 kilometers from the outskirts of Damascus. A separate report claimed that the IDF had captured several villages south of the Syrian capital.

  • Israel has destroyed the CERS research center in Damascus, a facility involved in developing weaponry, including advanced missiles and chemical weapons, the French newspaper Le Monde reported.

  • Turkey's Foreign Ministry condemned Israel's "advance into Syrian territory." Qatar's Foreign Ministry said Israel is exploiting the situation in Syria and is violating its sovereignty. The UAE's foreign ministry "strongly" condemned Israel's seizure of the demilitarized zone in the Golan Heights. Syria's UN envoy said Israeli bombardments, as well as incursions into Syrian territory, need to stop.

  • British Foreign Secretary David Lammy told Parliament that Israel has "legitimate security concerns" in Syria, adding that these were particularly understandable "in the context of a country [Syria] that has housed" Al-Qaida and the Islamic State. White House spokesperson John Kirby said U.S. officials are in close touch with both Syrian opposition groups and Israeli officials as the situation develops.

  • Senior figures in the Assad regime have fled to Beirut under the protection of Hezbollah, Lebanese newspaper Nidaa al-Watan reported, adding that among them is Assad's close advisor and former Syrian intelligence chief Ali Mamlouk, who is wanted in Lebanon on terrorism-related charges.
"It's hard to imagine any common interests that currently exist, or are likely to exist, between Iran and the new regime in Syria, which hasn't yet even taken its first steps, aside from appointing a new prime minister. That is Mohammed al-Bashir, who headed the government that ran the province of Idlib on behalf of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. Nevertheless, interests are a dynamic, flexible concept that depends on utility and necessity. And if Syria doesn't find solutions to its needs elsewhere, Iran might well become the address" – Zvi Bar'el
