In the name of DEI and "diversity, the BBC once again is "re-imagining" history and portraying historically White people and cultures as "diverse". Next on the list of re-imagined DEI history are the Anglo-Saxons. Yes that's right, apparently the Anglo-Saxons were quite racially diverse, according to whomever the writers for this piece of crap are.
Can't wait to see a show about Black Vikings next. I'm sure it will be very factual and informative. Or how about [east] Indian Vikings? Gotta mix things up a bit, don't wanna beat the Black horse to death. Follow that up with some Latino samurais and hey, why not some Mongolian Africans while we're at it? Fuck history. Representation is all that matters because apparently some emotionally stunted twats lack the ability to enjoy anything they're not "represented" in.

Seems fair, after all the White people that played historically non-White characters.

A lack of diversity in the acting pool back then is not the same as intentionally trying to re-imagine history today. This is what Marxist-communist scumbags do.
True. There is no racism, and never was. It's all the non-Whites' fault for not being interested, or for not being good enough.

Like Chuck Connors playing Geronimo in the 1962 movie. They only cast him because there were no American Native actors working in 1962.
