Manchester rock giants Oasis look set to announce a comeback.Oasis, who have sold 75 million albums and are headed by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher split in 2009 after almost 30 years together.
Yesterday, seconds after Stockport, Greater Manchester, band Blossoms' headline set at Wythenshawe Park drew to a close with their hit 'Charlemagne', a ten-second clip seemingly teasing the much-speculated Oasis reunion was played on the screen.
Stockport lads Blossoms wowed a 30,000-strong crowd at Wythenshawe Park last night, with support from The Guestlist, Terraces, Seb Lowe, The K’s, Shed Seven and Inhaler.
Indicating that something was coming, two songs before the end of their set they played Oasis's 'Half The World Away'.
Immediately after the show a short but sweet teaser video showed '27/8/24' written in the Oasis branding.
