I hope this gets resolved. The City should send someone out to ensure her meter is working & that there are no leaks. Hopefully there's an update telling us what the resolution was & what, if any issues there were.Winnipeg senior's account overdrawn for $146,000 water bill

Smart meters have their issues as well. Eventually, someone else will be in control & if you are perceived to have used "more than your fair share" (or whatever) water, electricity or gas could be shut off because you used more than you were allowed. I'm hoping this won't come to pass but it's out there as a possibility! Climate change ya know!!!
