So, from the outside looking in, and before the announcement yesterday that Biden is stepping down….Trump & Biden had already agreed to have a second debate.

Do they still have it? With Biden stepping down? Or does Trump debate somebody else and if so, who?
I think the Democrats need to actually choose a candidate at their convention. Just because Biden endorsed her does not make her the candidate. Others can run. Then they would likely re-negotiate the president debate and the VP debate.

Nothing wrong with being great, but what will make it great?
And America was a great nation, from 41 to 45. It was great when it was a haven for newcomers, and its presidents weren't convicted felons or found guilty of sexual assault, and they didn't try to overthrow an election. That's the America that they need to get back to, one that a President isn't a fucking baby who picks fights with the media at every turn. Who doesn't declare that "GOD HIMSELF stepped in and saved me from the assassin!"

I'm glad Biden stepped down, he should have handed over the keys long before this.
Too bad Trump didn't put his country first and step down, but GOD will have none of that.

MAGA is a sad cliche.
The world is laughing at America, especially its enemies.
America's enemies may be laughing at the moment, because they know that Biden and his kind will never carry through on any threats. OTH, everyone knows Trump is batshit crazy and will pull the trigger. They are also very aware that America will come out on top in a serious fight.

Harris also picked up the endorsements of many Democratic leaders, including Govs. Gavin Newsom of California. Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer — both considered possible replacements for Biden — endorsed Harris on Monday morning, in a joint statement with Govs. Tim Walz of Minnesota and Tony Evers of Wisconsin. Michigan and Wisconsin are key swing states that Harris will need to win.

"She represents our Party's best chance to defeat Donald Trump in November, and I will work my heart out to help her do that," Pritzker said in a statement.

I missed the big deal about pronouncing her name. I called her Ka-mal-ah and my buddy said it was actually Kam-a-la...like 'Pamela'. Why is this an issue? Could someone please explain.

Or is this like the Republicans calling Iraq...Eye-Raq?

I thought they called it Eye-Raq because George W had a Texas drawl and that is how he pronounced it.
