People see her picture and they guess that she might be Blake Lively or someone, but not Canada’s foreign affairs minister Melonie Joly. It’s not a bad thing to be mistaken for an actress, but it doesn’t make her any more recognizable.
Is Melanie Joly on the left or the right above? Potentially 50% odds of getting it right…
What difference does it make? I couldn't pick the Secretary of State out of a lineup. Does that make me unable to form a reasonable opinion on U.S. foreign affairs?

Is the secretary of state a potential replacement for your president if they step down? That’s where the recognition factor comes into play up here, as the names and faces in that recognition picture I posted are all potential names for replacements for Trudeau for the leader of the Liberal party…plus I thought it was kind of funny because currently Trudeau is trying to use the fact that his name and face are more recognizable than Poilievre’s, etc…

He's actually fairly high on the list, #4 or 5 if I recollect right. It goes President, VP, Speaker of the House of Representatives, then the Cabinet, starting with the Big Four: State, Treasury, Justice, and Defense (not necessarily in that order, it's been a long time).
