Ya know, like how Russia had something like 20,000 tanks but the vast majority of them were just hulks rotting away in storage and/or obsolete antiques? Even the newer tanks were poorly equipped. Fuck dude, Russia can't properly supply their own troops with food, water and ammo, and that's a problem Russia hasn't solved since Day 1 of their invasion. Or how about the Moskva? Pride of the Russian Black Sea fleet. Was supposed to be able to knock down anything that got close to it and now that prized "superweapon" is a sub.
Russia and China love to boast about how their militaries are so much more powerful than the US/West and that their technology is miles ahead of the US/West despite constant proof of the opposite. Both of them are a solid two generations behind the West when it comes to military tech.
As for Taiwan, the way Xi keeps poking India he's gonna be WAY too busy fighting a war with them to have the time or resources to attack Taiwan. And from a purely strategic perspective, taking Russian territory would be of far more use to China than taking Taiwan. China will gain nothing from Taiwan. TSMC and other super conductor manufacturers in Taiwan have stated they will destroy their equipment before the CCP can get their hands on it. That would leave the US as the world's only supplier of superconductors.
As for oil, Trudeau is on the way out. Given the current geo-political situation I can see a new govt in Canada scrapping some of Groper's stupid enviro laws to ensure a strong supply of oil to our allies. Not as long as Groper is in charge though. He has all the geo-political depth of piss on a plate. As well, if Groper had any brains at all he'd quit selling our LNG to China and sell it to Europe instead. But alas, Groper is addicted to sucking Chinese communist dick.
