This is interesting. While it may seem as though Starmer and Labour are hugely popular having won in a huge landslide, if you look a bit deeper you will find that is not the case.
Starmer got less votes and a lower percentage of the votes than Jeremy Corbyn did when he LOST the 2017 election.
Corbyn LOST in 2017 to Theresa May by getting nearly 13 million votes, or 40% of the votes.
Starmer, meanwhile, won with 9.7 million votes, or 33.8%.
So Starmer and his Labour Party are even more unpopular than the Far Left Commie Corbyn and his Labour Party yet Starmer won and Corbyn lost.

Yeah. I think it's the lowest turnout since 1885.
Labour didn't win this election in the normal sense - they're more unpopular than they were under Comrade Corbyn (who won in Islington North as an Independent in this election). It was just that the Conservatives completely imploded, lost a record number of seats and Labour ended up taking those seats instead. It was more like the Tories lost than Labour winning.
Yeah, they won it, but they didn't win it because they are so popular. They are less popular than they were in 2017 when they LOST. It was more like the Tories were so bad the victory was Labour's by default.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting has told reporters the first Cabinet meeting was "very good".
He adds: "We're getting to work straight away."
Streeting was joined by Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds, who described the meeting as "superb" as they departed No 10.
Last night, the new Health Secretary said the NHS was "broken" and it would take a team effort to turn the health service around.

Some comments to bring you from the new Environment Secretary who says "it will take years" to tackle the sewage and nature crises.
As he took on the brief, Steve Reed said: "It is the privilege of my life to be appointed as the Secretary of State For Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
"There is no sugar-coating it: we face a crisis point.
"Record levels of sewage in our rivers, lakes and seas. Nature is dying. Confidence amongst farmers at the lowest on record."
He insisted the "work of change begins now".
Labour's mission is to make Britain secure, says Defence Secretary
Labour wants to "make Britain secure at home and strong abroad", says new Defence Secretary John Healy.
Addressing the defence ministry for the first time, Healy highlighted "serious problems" the world faces, such as "war in Europe, conflict in the Middle East, growing Russian aggression, increasing global threats".
He said the armed forces have been underfunded for 14 years, but Labour is "totally committed" to 2.5% of GDP for defence spending, Nato, the nuclear deterrent and support for Ukraine.
"Our mission is to make Britain secure at home and strong abroad, with the guiding principle of one defence," he added.

Gotta say. . . for a party that calls itself "Labour," don't look like any of these guys ever punched a time-clock.
Well they have been accused in recent years of no longing being the party that represents the working class masses, which is what Keir Hardie intended it to be when he founded it in 1900. They are now often seen as representing the well off middle class London and Home Counties types, those who voted Remain.
However, this new Parliament has the highest number of MPs that went to ordinary comprehensive schools - 63% of MPs compared to 54% from 2019.
Excellent way to cause a depression in a country that is already suffering poor management and an overdose of foreigners moving in. This will be the 4th or5th wave of foreigners to overrun England in recorded history.
