The important one.
The one that got national and international attention. Truckers lost..the hangar ons lost,...the bandwagon jumpers lost. Real truckers kept on working anyway.
No one will care next week.
The main stream media you hate so much will be gone and only twitter twits will keep anything going and those subscribers are basically fringe and losers anyways LOL
Done like dinner. Over and out See ya.

Oh and....here it comes, just for you....a still cannot get into the US if you are not vaccinated. And Trudeau is still PM.
So you admit they lost nothing . Is the protest over ? No still plenty of people in Ottawa trucks too .
Whatever Trudeau still being PM has to do with anything however he does appear to be hanging on by a thread with approval rating hovering around 12% and phones ringing off the hook in Liberal constituency office across the country .

Great fuck off spelling nazi . Aren’t you do for a booster ? Run along .
I answered the question you asked.

Maybe you should ask better questions.

Did they release the Kraken? Nope.

Did they let slip the dogs of war? Nope.

Did they mill about for a while and go away? Mostly.

Did they meet any of their undefined objectives? Who knows? They're undefined.

So, weird question and not necessarily related to the post that I’m quoting, but respect your opinion with respect to legalities on the US side. I have somebody to bounce things off of with respect and legalities on the Canadian side, but this is more of an international question.

If…. If the liberal party in the use of the emergency measures act actually does start freezing peoples bank accounts, and seizing assets, and what ever other retroactive draconian punishments they can think up tying back to banks and financial institutions…. I had to pause to take a breath…. What about Americans that donated to the GoFundMe platform that was organized with respect to this protest? Here comes my question.

Trudeau through Freeland has promised to pursue and punish those involved in funding this protest, aiding in abetting or what have you. How is this gonna affect American citizens in America?

I mean the big push initially before they came to this latest reaction was that this all had to be due to foreign interference, and they were even trying to blame Russia for a while before they settled on Trump and Trump supporters. do you think there’s going to be extraditions and seized assets in America due to this Canadian whatever it is???
They can make the donators inadmissible to enter Canada . Probably not much else .

I agree with everything you say.
Do want to clarify though, pulling plates, licences and commercial license was always available to the cops.
Oh and, the governments, at all levels and of all political stripes, change or add laws all the time. That seems to be their only job LOL
Yes, in the boundaries of the highway traffic act or similar acts, but not this one that was dug out and dusted off so recently with the hopes of never using it.

It just has a vindictive stench to it for me. “How dare you go against the grain as it’s perceived by the naturally reigning Party? This’ll learn you up right quickly you racist misogynistic fringe elements (not people) for wanting to be heard!!”

Don’t get me wrong and this whole protest evolved into utter stupidity, but this seems utterly vindictive as opposed to Trying to restore order & good government.

Lot’s of things should’ve happened differently at all stages of the last month, but they didn’t. Yanking their commercial drivers licenses and insurance in this instance after the fact just doesn’t feel right.

Nope, you asked what they lost and I told you. Ottawa protest is done and no one else will care anymore.
There can be gatherings elsewhere but they will mean nothing.
He may only have a 12% approval rating but he has 4 years left to piss you off LOL

For sure.
The primary responsibility was the City of Ottawa and the Mayor, police chief and police council all had epic fails.
In other major cities where copycat gathering were held the results were very different because they all saw how badly Ottawa screwed up.
Vindictiveness is the key. To save face the government is going to make someone pay.

He can’t piss me off , I came to the conclusion that Canada is broken beyond repair years ago . He can only hasten its inevitable demise along .

Good ole Canadians. We are to be respected....
How to gain support.
“This is a feature of these demonstrations, Yasmin, that we haven’t seen in Canada a whole lot,” McGregor said. “I know the MAGA movement in the United States, we’ve seen a lot of this kind of thing. But protesters, now they see their occupation of the city coming to an end after three weeks, increasingly turning their anger against journalists. Seeing a lot of our colleagues up here covering these, these protests being harassed, screamed at, as you can hear here.”

Didn't see this on CBC, CTV, Global, etc. I thought Serrya said no one was admitted into the hospital for injuries?

CANADIAN NEWS Feb 20, 2022 3:34 PM EST

Woman trampled by Trudeau's forces during freedom protest identified as Indigenous elder

Sero reportedly suffered a broken clavicle from the trampling.

The elderly woman who was reportedly injured when police on horseback rode through a crowd of Freedom Convoy protesters Friday evening has been identified as Candice "Candy" Sero. She is reportedly a full-blood Mohawk woman who lives in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory in Hastings County, Ontario.

According to a woman claiming to be Sero's niece, she said in a Facebook post Saturday that her alleged aunt is "very much alive" after false reports over the weekend said that the injured woman had passed away from the incident.

Video shows Sero in a wheelchair, with the woman who took the video saying "born to be alive." Someone in the background shouts, "Hold the line!"

A video on YouTube shows Sero in Ottawa with her car, which had been signed by numerous protest attendees, days before the viral trampling incident.

Shortly after the incident occurred on Friday, Fox News contributor Sara Carter wrote on Twitter at the time that Sero may have passed away in the hospital. Conflicting reports said that the woman was merely injured.

Carter later apologized the following morning for her tweet, stating that the reports she was given "from sources on the ground that someone may have died at a hospital during the trampling was wrong." Carater said "someone was taken to a hospital with a heart condition-not due to trampling."

"I want to clarify this again and apologize for any confusion," Carter tweeted......More

I said no one that had been reported, and that a Trauma doc had written that no one had died.

Then this came out she was admitted.

Which I responded to.

Pay the fuck attention.
