What did you do in the USAF? Cook for and clean the uniforms for the pilots? Just asking. No, I have never been in a communist country and have no desire to ever go to one. But I do believe that I am living in a communist country now. That country is called Canada. From all of your attacks and the mocking of those patriotic non communist truckers pretty much tells me that you may just have some sympathy and support for communism. Why else would you be attacking and mocking those patriotic truckers who are just fighting for their rights and freedoms? Rights and freedoms that you believe they should not have. Go away.

Go, truckers, go. Truck on. HONK-HONK. (y)
Intel. Which covers a lot of ground.

I've been in East Germany, Yugoslavia, and El Salvador, back in the day when I don't think there was much debate about whether they were Communist countries.

Trust me, you wouldn't know communism if it walked up and bit you in the ass.

And it's entirely possible to be patriotic and still be an idiot, as you so ably demonstrate.

Come on, man! I know what communism is all about, comrade. I am living in a communist country today. Thanks to that farce called covid, I have lost plenty of my rights and freedoms thanks to your hero, Marxist Trudeau. We are living in a country where one needs to have a vaccine passport to be able to go eat in a restaurant. If that is not communist, then what the hell is? I cannot go into any place of business unless I have a vaccine passport. And you seem to be quite happy with that, chief. Again I say that you appear to have been influenced by communism judging by the way you are attacking and mocking those freedom loving truckers. Only communists would do and say those things like you do. Patriotism is just not your bag, now is it? So bloody sad for you. (n)

Strange. I've had my vaccine passport for months and I'm out and about all day. I've never needed to use it once.

Histrionics much?

I am allowed to watch the game in my local , interact with other customers and generally enjoy myself as long as I don’t try and spend money .

The food court at my local Mall asks for vaccine proof. But I've never frequented the establishment, even before the pandemic.

The vaccine passport sits in the glovebox of my car, and I swear I've never had to use it in any of my travels.

I believe I have been asked twice, both times in restaurants for sit in dining. No biggie.

Everybody is crying for Trudeau to "do something" but suggestions as to exactly what he should do are few and far between. Both the NDP and the CPC are making similar demands, and both are light on details. I'm of the mind that the protesters are not going to go away willingly, and that no matte what course the Liberals take it is going to end badly. That's what the others want to see. They want to see the country burn for their own political advancement.

And don't forget, however it turns out, it'll be a masterpiece of good, democratic governance that destroyed the very fabric of Canaduh.

Trudeau had an opportunity to diffuse the situation. He instead chose to inflame it. So now for sure the opposition will be on him to do something. And they don't need to specify what that is. And they can object to it when he does it. TrueDope has made his bed and will now have to live with the consequences of his actions.

The people I talked to that have went to Ottawa just really hate Trudeau. They really just seemed to wanna troll the fuck out of everyone.

I do too hate Trudeau but not enough to participate in this silliness because he was elected and a conservative leader wouldn't be any different.

What's funny is that it appears more and more that Americans are backing this. You got American numbers blocking up the 911 service in Ottawa, and you even had that fella from Ohio call in a bomb threat to the wrong police station. Americans financing it more that Canadians.

In my opinion this protest is a combination of American politics spilling over into Canada (again) coupled with a real hate for Trudeau.

I mean it could be fake news

And he could end it today , and he is the perfect actor for the job . He can stand up in the House of not so Commons shed a few tears , put on his sober thoughtful face and say after careful consideration he has listened to Canadians and the health professionals and now is time to end the mandates . So very simple , yet so hard .

For sure there is lots of Trudeau hatred , but this is not one side of the political spectrum against another . This is more a pox on all your houses kind of thing , from my perspective .Those supporting the truckers seem to be the center of the political spectrum whose votes decide elections and thats why they are handcuffed because it hasn’t been seen before .

The narcissism doesn't allow for that.

The hate for Trudeau is appropriate. Any Canadian who supports that Canada-hating Quebec nationalist is a fucking asshole. Not to mention the goof suffers from raging megalomania. But what can you expect from a completely ideology driven little man-child who admires dictatorships and tries to emulate them.

I can almost guarentee he won't do that. He is of the temperament to add additional mandates just out of spite.
