I didn’t go to any ceremonies today, but while my neighbour (a Veteran) did & while he was gone I shovelled out our place, & his place, & the next neighbour in line (a Senior) place. Wet heavy nasty stuff….

On this, what we call "Veterans Day" in that odd place south of Canada, I recall my part in the Occupation of Berlin.
