I missed the first few minutes of the game and so had no idea until watching the post game show that the Russians actually were late showing up for the game. Canada was on the blue line ready for puck drop. When the Russians finally did show up they skated around their end of the ice totally unaware that they were holding up game start. It appears they were out of sync before the game even started.

The US prevailed - narrowly - over Finland last night and will now play our Canadians in the Gold Medal game later today. First up, Finland vs Russia for the Bronze.

I think the USA will be the first real challenge the Canadians have had/will have at this tournament. I hope they prevail.

I think the USA will be the first real challenge the Canadians have had/will have at this tournament. I hope they prevail.

They were and they did not. Silver is technically not bad and some hockey fans would view it as a valid and noble achievement. This hockey fan views it as losing the big game.

i guess it would be safe to say that the mens 2020 tournament was cancelled. i hope that the canada mens team has better luck.
