The civil war was settled with guns. Americans have used guns to settle every dispute in their history. Putting it away is sending the wrong signal. It didn't work when Americans withdrew from Korean War, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Etc.
Trump looks dumbfounded when Kellyanne Conway tells the war president Trump America has lost more lives than it lost in Vietnam. Calling the enemy a Chinese Virus is giving China credit for decimating America's defence and economy without firing a single shot.
Since America is now the epicentre of the CoVid pandemic and China has almost eradicated any signs of the virus in Wuhan. All future spread will be blamed on America.
