Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'
Well now, see. Now we can have a conversation, you're okay now right? It's good.
Yes people do tend to put their families first, granted. I get that. So I suppose that if (as I challenged you in a previous post) your loved one was in need and a neighbour could fulfill that need you would seek that out, correct? You would do anything to save your loved one. You would ask for help. And if that help came to you from a neighbour and later down the road that neighbour was in need of something you had for a their loved one, you would reciprocate, yes? Of course you would. I mean unless you're a cold hearted bastard which you might be, I don't know you from Jack but I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
And I repeat, at no time did I nor did anyone else here, suggest that a country deplete its own resources to come to the aid of another. In working collectively it can only benefit everyone as differing needs arise in various countries. Is is not then in everyone's interest to come together and help one another, if possible, at a time like this? And yes, beyond my family I want my fellow countrymen to be safe, I want my first responders and food suppliers etc to be safe and well taken care of, of course I do. If that means a fair and reasonable back and forth of resources between countries to assure that, then that seems reasonable to me.
So, angry fist shaker black hair parted on the side 1/4 stache guy still not ringing any bells?
Humans being as they are tend to put their family and friends first. I would rather my parents and my siblings and my grandmother and my cousins and my aunts and my uncles and my friends get British medical equipment and medicines before Artyom in Kazakhstan does.
Beyond the people we love we tend to see the next priority as being our fellow countrymen.
Pattanapong in Thailand and the Waltons in Virginia are way down the list.
