Don't you mean climate change is a hoax and only white people face discrimination?
Of course , isn’t that why you are shunned ? If you were a nice mixed race mongrel like me , you too could a member of the 10% club . Your Canadian citizenship alone gives you a step up .

Well, may as well continue off topic .....

When I first came to Canada gas was 38c. per Gallon - i.e. much less than 10c/L. I could fill my VW beetle and get change from $5.

I don't recall it being that low. But on the North Island it was crowding $1.00 imperial gallon which would be closer to 20c/l. We thought that was the reason to go metric so there wouldn't be a revolution when gas hit a dollar.

gas was in the 30 cent range all through the 1960s

the prices didn't use to change very often and when gas went up 2 cents a gallon it was a big deal.

Big potato used the over a $1.00/gallon issue and orchestrated a non confidence vote over Clark, forced Metric on us and raised fuel prices higher than Clark's proposal within a year.

Never vote for a party.

But don't worry about it; in our present system you can't.

Also in Quebec ridings you can only vote for Quebec candidates.

Actually many people do. Technically they vote for the candidate for that party but in effect they are voting party. Otherwise party affiliation would not be on the ballot. Then voters would have to think a little.

The fundamental flaw with the Canadian electoral system is that Quebec has more seats in both houses than any other province. In fact Quebec has more seats than most provinces combined.
