I would have voted Conservative if Rona Ambrose was their leader. I really like that gal. I think she would have buried Dreamboat. It's a shame she didn't want the brass ring. But I heard she hooked up with a Bazzillionnaire and is enjoying a nice life these days, so why bother with all of the political headaches, I suppose.

When she agreed to the interim gig she wasn't allowed to run for leader, problem is if she wouldn't have taken the interim we wouldn't have known how good she really was.

The good news is she can run to be leader in the next leader convention.

It's election day in Canada: Here's what you need to know

I just know I won't be tuned into CTV's Lisa LaFlamme...

With that gruff voice and big hair, she looks like she has a cigar and brandy going just outside of camera range.
I always watch CPAC on election night, HH - they are by far the least partisan of all the broadcasters.............and I have thing for Peter Van Dusen.

I might be showing my age, but I have a 'thing' for Barbara Eden and Mary Tyler Moore.

I think this 2019 Election is a bit like Tranny Porn...it's fun to watch but I'm glad I'm not actually participating in it. ;)

It's like this...

We all go on-line with the best of intentions...to do research for a paper...for political headlines...recipes...current affairs...

But after about 20 minutes, you inevitably end up on HairyBikerPussy.com...right when your wife walks into the room. It never fails!

Well, I just voted....(drum roll)....Liberal!
I know most of you find me to be right-leaning most of the time, but in this case I had to consider my employment and family needs first. Everybody's situation is different. I voted for Harper in the past. I still like the man.
It almost killed me to vote for Costume Boy today, but I feel it was still the right move for where I'm at in my life right now.
Traitor.

Traitor?

The Cons are always trying to privatize my sector of employment. They are in a race to the bottom. Instead of bringing the private sector UP to the public sector, they are trying to please the shareholders by bringing good paying jobs DOWN to minimum wage.

No thank you...next.

Around here, they're all robocalls. There's no fun in stringing them along, like when you tell the Jehovah's witnesses that show up at the door that "We all worship Satan, here"..

Actually, CC two of the calls were live and were from candidates in my constituency. Many of the others were definitely robocalls............I doubt that Stockwell Day actually called to get me out to vote.

Polls are now closed in Newfoundland and Labrador........and now the fun begins.
Another power on another thread about Western Separatism said that the expat Newfoundlanders were going fight hard for the new country. I should have pointed out that Newfoundland last time around was Liberal from one end to the other and will maybe repeat something like that.
