Biden will likely only last the first few Primaries in 2020. I think the Dems will go for someone who truly represents their fragmented ideological tribalism. My guess is it will be Kamala Harris who has positioned herself as the AntiTrump and who fits the profile as a woman of colour, of Jamaican and Indian immigrant parentage, who has assumed some aspect of every cultural victim's group. Nobody else can come close to reflecting the true character of the Dems these days.

I don't think Biden really wants to be President. He hasn't brought much energy to the campaign. He's there because he's been convinced he is the only one who can unite the cultural and eco-pagan fragmentalists and the economic progressives (Harris and Sanders respectively) but he really doesn't appeal to either. I doubt he's thinking of himself as anything but a one term bridge Presidency. He looks a lot like the John McCain of the Dems. Someone who promised an era of style through bipartisanship and commonality but lacked any sense of vision or purpose.

And between Trump and Harris, it'll be a cakewalk for Trump. Sanders would stand a chance in the Rust Belt against Trump, but Harris will be relegated to Urbanized Blue States and leave the heartland to Trump.

Trump will have him tried and put to death for treason shortly before the next election.
Yes, a trial being the key thing there, innit?
;)

Unlike the way you and your wiener buddies tried to hang trump without one.
