Kenney is likely going to find that a lot of the sh*t that's in his head won't transpire! :)

I have't a clue what's in his head, JLM - not being a mind-reader. That said, I am quite sure that much of what the Premier-elect has promised the people of Alberta will indeed come to pass. That's part of the joy of having a big majority.

Get it right , not offering enough consultation .
Please explain to me why it is that out of all the different groups of people that the feds have to consult with during their time in government, the natives seem to be the only ones who have no idea how to get anything done in a timely manner. Months after the line was approved by the NEB and they are still consulting? Good frickin' grief. The only natives that should be consulted are those who live along the route.

Personally, I believe that the so-called 'need to consult' is just a stalling tactic by the little potato until he sees what the Premier-elect of Alberta will do as soon as he takes office.

I believe there was also a requirement to carry out an actual scientific study into the impact of the proposal on the environment.

That is the one we are all wanting to see out here, as everyone who works on the water understands that the risks are going to be tremendous.

" It's okay Cliffy, soon you will get your wish in BC..
No oil for cars, gas prices double what they are.. higher taxes.. no economy..

spoken like a childish dictator who has no problem creating hardships and watching others suffer The inhumanity of that kind of thinking is appalling. Why didn't you plan your fiances better and do some future planning when AB was riding high under the blue eyed sheikh ?? You had the megabucks to ministration off the dirty oil into something more modern and environment friendly.
such crazy threats speak more to the type of person you so happily elected. You have your own Trump lite.

AB hit a rough patch and can't seem to figure out how to handle it CREATIVELY with progressive thinking."

I largely agree with this view of Alberta's economic crisis - it's basically the result of pile-on-the-bandwaggon greed with little or no planning or thought for future consequences. It's all too common when the money-getting fury takes hold and no one can see beyond the next fat paycheck or investment payout. It's sad and shortsighted that people think their need to make a killing entitles them to just bulldoze their way, unopposed, through the neighbors's yard.

We're both part of Canada, which is supposedly a free country and when a member of another province says he's going to interfere with the movement of goods to British Columbia he's stepped over the mark and two can play the same game. I've already taken a disliking to the Asshole in one short day. He's a blow hard!

OF COURSE the "consultations" are a stalling tactic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some B.C. chiefs are now claiming they OWN ALL THE LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meaning they claim the right to decide what happens on land BEYOND their reserves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They claim they NEVER SOLD that land!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals are encouraging natives to TEAR UP every treaty and every deal that was ever written!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals are engaged in the biggest vote buying scandal in Cdn history as they encourage native land claims that are insane!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals fully intend to STALL on Kinder Morgan till after the October election!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If LIE-berals win that election then the Cdn oil patch will BE DESTROYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And LIE-berals will go on an UNPRECEDENTED EPIC journey of LOOTING AND PILLAGING ACROSS CANADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIE-berals will tell us it is for our own good that they DESTROY our economy with huge new taxes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While they make themselves and their civil service union HOG allies RICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe equalization is an outdated idea.

Instead of using that ridiculous formula BC should just take a look at what it needs and charge that much to the pipeline.

That will determine how much it costs the oil companies to ship their booty through bC

Or they can turn off the taps and get nothing,

Up to them.

The West doesn't need it anymore, like they used to. Equalization is now outdated.

Obviously the East does or it would have been gotten rid of a long time ago
It's bad for Ontario, I'm quite sure of that. For most of our history, we've paid in. For the last decade, not. Anyway, if thing go back to where they were for most of Confederation, the Prairies will be right back on the Dole again as they were for 75 years. Equalization will be DEMANDED again.

I really hope it does that would mean the whole country is humming on all cylinders

The intellectually challenged dolt who sits in the Premiers chair here in BC started this fight, JLM. Hoggy and his buddy have done all they can to interfere with the movement of goods (in this case, oil) from Alberta. I don't blame AB one bit for retaliating in any way they are legally able to do so. That said, Kenney is no fool and knows full well that turning off the taps to our province would only result in a long and expensive court challenge that he'd very likely lose. It was nothing but the usual over-the-top type of campaign rhetoric that all parties practice.

One short day, eh. Jump to conclusions much? I doubt you have the faintest idea of what Mr Kenney has accomplished during his time in Canadian politics. Not that I think you give a whit.

Small thoughts fit easily into a closed mind, but big thoughts require an open one.

I suspect Albertans have a helluva lot more guns than the people in the lower BC mainland, and know a lot more about how to use them, so go ahead, soldier boy.
Oh goody; civil war. What a great idea - yeah, yeah, yeah! Way to go, Alberta.
Just HOW stupid can you be? (I though we knew, but no.)
