I took a job there for a year a decade and a bit ago and I bought a house in my old neighbourhood that I used to play in as a kid (right near the Lake). Nice neighbourhood. Beautiful and affordable housing. I found that Montreal is stuck in a time bubble, though ... somwhere around 1976 and the whole country has moved well on, leaving them behind in many ways. We were very lucky to grow up there.

Yeah, I got moved around a bit growing up, from Dalhousie, NB, Beaconsfield, PQ, Cornwall, ON, Sudbury, ON, Hamilton, ON (Born there)..

After I was all grown up, Calgary, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Yakima, WA, Arlington, TX and 1 year Teloloapan, Mexico.

As a trucker, I get to see the rest of the country.. could never stay in one place for more than a year as a young adult, keep moving.. so became a trucker..

Solved the wandering itch.

Wandered with the Forces, a bit. I'm a 10th generation Canadian with family everywhere and the whole damned country is my home.
