In the first two cases.. the only nation states that have prospered under the Global Trading Paradigm are the small transshipment and banking former colonies who have never had an integrated, sovereign national economy. And even there the wealth is skewed to top end of the hierarchy.. with everyone else caring for their kids or cleaning their houses or driving their cars.

In the case of North Korea real economic nationalism is NOT isolationist. It involves managed fair trade that benefits both partners, taking advantage of the competitive advantages of both.. and limits the gouging done by banks and trading operations.

Freeland basically said today that we won't be ratifying NAFTA unless the steel/aluminum tariffs are removed.

This is something that I said long ago. There is no point in even negotiating with America as long as Trump is in power. They do not negotiate in good faith and we are simply wasting our time trying.

We need to go forward with a case by case policy until he is gone and some sort of normalcy returns. If it ever does.

At the moment America is a write off and frankly they aren't worth worrying about.

In JLMs Defense, calling people “asshole” or “Putz” isn’t trolling. It’s just that he really doesn’t have debating skills nor does he have the ability to accept when he’s wrong. For what it’s worth, the term “Putz” was given to me by Petros after I repeatedly proved he had no idea what he was talking about. Like JLM, Petros also lacks the ability to accept he’s clueless so the only alternative left to either of them is childish name calling. I consider “Putz” a badge of honour. It means JLM can’t actually refute what I’ve said. That’s why he uses it so much. I’m always right and he’s always wrong.
