LOl Well where do I start...with the food? Well, the Maple Sugaring off parties for instance.....or Christmas celebrations or basic family meals and I mustn't forget the schooling....or the different takes on Quebec history. Very different between the English versions and the French. In the end it will become a unique combination of both here. Tried Quebec Poutine yet??? Or English Plum pudding or Currant suet pudding. In fact, we call what we speak at times, Franglais. A language that does not change with the culture becomes extinct.
We are coming together more now. What makes Quebec unique, is after the last WW so many newcomers came from so many other cultures. Over the last 20 t0 30 years we are now incorporating more southernly influences ....which will change our Quebec culture once again BUT while both English and French cultures will continue to change both languages have already incorporated many others . So, language is very definite part of a culture.
