Crazy game. Glad Harris finally woke up, looks like it might be a game, though that last-second Stamps TD hurt.

But WTF, Edmonton? Ever heard of high-tech stuff like heat lamps? Rock salt? Tarps?

With you on the reason for all the slipping and sliding out there. Pisses me right off as it gives the guys yet one more hurdle to cross. Having to think about your footing while keeping your eye on the ball and the defenders closing in on you is just a bit much to ask of any player. Too bad it's so cold, they would be better off playing in their bare feet - at least they would have better traction.

If Harris locks in his connexion with Ellingson, we'll be OK.

But wow, the RBs started ice-cold. Good to see they're shaking it off. I want to shake hands with Rose's lawyer.

I'd say his connection to Sinopoli is working just fine, Tec. I will know he is back on track when I see him making use of other targets as he did in the Eastern Final. He's got a lot of talent out there and making use of it when he can will help confuse the Stump's defense. The defense needs to sharpen up too - they've let too many yards add up for the opposition. They have to find a way of shutting down Boo and creating TOs. At least they appear to have the penalty situation under control.

Aaaaand. . . the INT spells game.

Congratulations to the Stampeders. Been a bridesmaid for a long time, now the bride.

I invite our Canadian friends to switch over and follow the NFL team of your choice, be it the Ravens, the Ravens, or even the Ravens.

Honestly speaking, the best team on the field tonight won. Congratulations to the Calgary Stampeders for finally breaking the curse. Congratulations to the Redblacks for making it to the Cup when all others didn't.

How can a Grey Cup have pyrotechnics at half-time but play the game on a virtual curling rink? Players should've been fitted with curling shoes.

Conditions on the field are one of the main talking points on sports forums today, Kreskin. It slowed the game down and prevented some of the great runs we've seen in previous Grey Cups. I doubt this game will go down as anything more than average when compared to the last two Cups when speaking of the excitement factor.

It could have been frozen natural turf which is like fuzzy concrete.

What type of artificial turf does Commonwealth have?
