I'm the fairest and most unbiased poster on this forum.
And I'm saying based on yesterday's testimonies, I don't believe Kavanaugh is fit for the highest court in the land. Ford's credibility was measured, air tight and totally believable. I didn't see a 50 something Professor of Psychology testifying yesterday...I saw a frightened little school girl in her appearance before that committee.
And if Kavanaugh was a real man, he too would have acknowledged this and showed more empathy towards Ford. He was there in that room 36 years ago...he was a very drunk 17 year old pre-adult who acted inappropriately...possibly made a one-off mistake...and he has to own that.

Do you also believe that if Brett had a habit or a rumour of this being apart of his background it was willingly ignored in his last 6 background checks? Also if there was a hint of this in his file the Dems. wouldn't have yelled it from the roof tops since being picked to be nominated by Trump, especially by being picked by Trump?


The senate sent their investigator's to look into this and came back with nothing, do I believe something happened to her in the past? Yes, the polygraph results confirm this as well, but nothing confirming it was Kavanaugh, no transcripts from the polygraph were submitted outside of the 2 open questions and yes answers neither question had Kavanaugh's name in it. Her best friend that was named to be there doesn't remember being there


Anyone not believing this wasn't a ploy to delay the confirmation is willingly blind, follow the money it will tell the truth.

This isn't a court of law. It's to decide whether or not Kavanaugh has the right moral and ethical stones to sit on that bench. I don't believe he does based on what I saw and heard from both of them yesterday.

So the fact that since his college days and the alleged 'groping' incident he has, from all accounts lived an exemplary life; that every single one of his law clerks who are almost all female have written letters of support; the depositions from lawyers and judges supporting Judge Kavanaugh; the fact that not one single instance of similar alleged behavior has ever been reported; that the FBI did a thorough complete background investigation and found nothing and finally, that Dr Ford's best friend refutes her allegation that she was in attendance at the party - that counts for naught?


After sitting through the entire testimony of both parties and have listened to and read the many opinions of others, I've decided that taking a devil's advocate approach to this schmozzle will be my path forward.

Why would any citizen want a justice sitting on the supreme court which thinks that a president should have more power?

Everybody seems to complain that the ruling class has too much power and yet today would demand that a new justice be appointed to a court for the next 20 years or more and who believes that elected representatives in congress should have less powers.

Trump is watching the electorate demand that Trump keep his promise of locking Clinton up ..... and if he fails to do so, they will lock Trump up himself via the midterm elections. This new judge seems to have agreed that Trump can't be locked up very easily.

All these years I thought my brother was telling the truth, but I'd like to thank all of you for straightening me out on this issue. It's obvious to me now that he just made the whole story up to garner more attention from my parents. I mean, there were no witnesses...no proof that it actually happened...so he MUST have been lying for gain!

So what you're saying is in this case, he's guilty until proven innocent, the hell with due process.
Have you ever been falsely accused of something heinous? Good acting is not proof you were a victim. Her shit wouldn't stand up in a criminal court and it's unlikely it would pass the sniff test in a civil suit. Not to mention that about 35 years ago Kavanaugh's mother ruled on a foreclosure case, against Ford's parents. And then there's the timing. Kavanaugh was appointed to positions in the courts two other times in the past. Where were the allegations then? The Dems tried everything to obstruct the appointment and nothing worked. Suddenly someone remembers something that allegedly happened 36 years ago. Ford is also an anti-Trumpite who marched in the pussy hat parade.
